ESPN golf feed taken over by 'racist' video about Donald Trump and Al Green in shocking moment

ESPN's coverage of the Arnold Palmer Invitational was briefly interrupted by offensive comments about Donald Trump and his political rival, Texas representative Al Green.

During Friday's second round in Florida, the ESPN+ feed showed Xander Schauffele's approach from a fairway bunker on the par-five 16th.

But as cameras showed the ball rolling away from the flag, the commentary from the TV announcers suddenly cut out.

Instead, for a few seconds, the audio from a video about Trump played out over the airwaves, sparking allegations of racism on social media.

'Ghetto Colonel Sanders is obviously very angry with Trump. But why?' the clip said, in a voice resembling iconic British presenter David Attenborough.

A few seconds later, the normal audio returned with coverage of Russell Henley's birdie putt on the 17th green.

The incident took a sinister turn, however, when Business Insider found what appears to be the source of the bizarre audio.

It was a video, posted by pro-Trump Instagram page @presidentialreviews, about Green's recent protest in Congress.

In the clip, the 77-year-old is referred to as 'Ghetto Colonel Sanders', a 'fried chicken icon, a 'DEI chicken master' and a 'greasy fast food pimp'.

'He continues to b**** and whine about Medicare, refusing to pay for his cousin's hemorrhoid gender reassignment surgery,' the video says.

'In the end the fried chicken pimp is kicked out of Congress and back on to the streets, free to sling greasy chicken to the people of DC.' The video was branded 'terrible' and 'racist' by users on social media.

The House voted to censure the congressman after he was thrown out of President Trump's address to a joint session of Congress.

The 77-year-old was physically removed from the House floor for interrupting Trump's speech. The president had to pause as shouting could be heard on the floor chamber.

The Texas Democrat had stood up from his seat and was yelling and waving his cane at Trump. 'You have no mandate to cut healthcare,' Green yelled.
