Founded in 1984, RE-DAI has become a leading force in the socket wrench industry, blending traditional craftsmanship with advanced technology to deliver cutting-edge tools. Over the decades, the company has continually pushed the boundaries of innovation, transitioning from hand tools and impact sockets to high-tech digital solutions.

RE-DAI's journey of excellence began with the acquisition of the VPA GS certification in 1986, a mark of its unwavering commitment to quality. By 1992, the company had computerized its management and manufacturing processes, paving the way for streamlined operations. Subsequent years saw further achievements, including TUV GS certification in 1993 and the development of heavy-duty teardrop ratchet handles in 1994.

Innovation has always been at the core of RE-DAI’s philosophy. The company launched its AS/RS automated warehouse in 1997 and introduced an ERP system in 2002, reinforcing its operational efficiency. Its products have also garnered international recognition, such as the OGK Easy-On Ratchet Handle, which won both the Taiwan Excellence Award and GOOD DESIGN Award in 2011, and the Insulated Socket Wrench, which received the Taiwan Excellence Award in 2014.

In recent years, RE-DAI has continued to break new ground. The company expanded with a second factory in Chiayi in 2019 and has received numerous accolades, including the Golden Hand Award, Rising Star Award, and the National Award of Outstanding SMEs. Most recently, in 2024, RE-DAI was named one of Taiwan’s Best Managed Companies, a testament to its leadership and vision.
