CENS Takes Taiwan Hardware Excellence to the World Stage

2025/01/17 | By Andrew Hsu

Taiwan's hardware industry has built a strong global reputation through its fasteners and hand tools, often regarded as the nation’s “hidden champions.” In 2023, Taiwan’s fastener exports reached a remarkable $4.6 billion, securing the third position worldwide, while hand tools exports hit $3.78 billion, ranking Taiwan as the fifth largest in the world and a leading hand tool supplier. These products primarily serve advanced markets, including the U.S., Europe, and Japan.

To support Taiwan’s suppliers in diversifying their export markets and boosting export momentum, Economic Daily News/CENS has taken an active role across major international hardware exhibitions—from Shanghai, China to Cologne, Germany. With a professional publishing team on site, CENS distributes industry magazines and offers real-time matchmaking services, ensuring that Taiwan’s high-quality and competitively priced products capture the attention of global buyers.

The 2024 edition of NHS introduced popular new exhibitor categories, including Gifts, Hobby, Craft, Sporting Goods, and Services & Solutions, alongside crowd-favorite sections such as BBQ & Grills, Outdoor & Garden, Building, Electrical, and more.
