  • Rockets' Dillon Brooks: Drains five threes in win

Brooks contributed 19 points (7-13 FG, 5-8 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one steal over 29 minutes during Wednesday's 118-106 victory over the Spurs.

The five made threes were Brooks' best performance from beyond the arc since he erupted for a 10-for-15 showing in Boston on Jan. 27. The 29-year-old forward has fired home multiple three-pointers in nine of the last 10 games -- a stretch in which he's averaging 13.6 points, 4.5 boards, 2.8 threes and 2.3 boards while shooting 44.4 percent from long range.

  • Rockets' Jalen Green: Drops 21 in win over San Antonio

Green notched 21 points (9-17 FG, 3-8 3Pt), seven rebounds and four assists over 28 minutes during Wednesday's 118-106 win over the Spurs.

The fourth-year guard has come out of the All-Star break on fire, topping 20 points in four straight games. Green has drained multiple threes in 10 straight contests dating back to Feb. 4, a stretch in which he's averaged 22.0 points, 4.7 boards, 4.6 assists and 3.6 threes.

  • Rockets' Amen Thompson: Leading scorer in Wednesday's win

Thompson closed with a game-high 25 points (12-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt), nine rebounds, five assists and two blocks across 30 minutes during Wednesday's 118-106 victory over the Spurs.

After getting ejected from Tuesday's win over the Bucks in the fourth quarter, Thompson returned with a vengeance Wednesday, posting his best scoring effort since Feb. 3. The second-year wing remains an erratic offensive contributor -- he's scored 20 or more points four times in 12 February games, but he's also scored in single digits five times. On the month, Thompson is averaging 14.9 points, 8.6 boards, 6.3 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.3 steals while shooting 54.7 percent from the floor.

  • Rockets' Jabari Smith: Back in starting lineup

Smith will start Wednesday's game against the Spurs, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Smith had started in just one of his three appearances since returning from a month-long absence and will be back in the starting lineup Wednesday in place of Tari Eason (lower leg). During that three-game stretch, he's averaged 10.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists across 33.3 minutes.

  • Rockets' Tari Eason: Ruled out for Wednesday

Eason will not play Wednesday against the Spurs due to left lower leg injury management.

Eason is essentially getting a rest day for the second leg of a back-to-back set after he logged a heavy workload in Tuesday's 100-97 win over the Bucks, finishing with 12 points, six rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block in 32 minutes. Jabari Smith will likely replace Eason as the Rockets' starting power forward Wednesday.

  • Rockets' Jabari Smith: Notches 13 points

Smith logged 13 points (4-10 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and eight rebounds across 33 minutes during Tuesday's 100-97 win over Milwaukee.

Playing in just his third game since returning from an extended injury absence, Smith shifted to the bench for this game with Tari Eason getting the starting nod. Houston's lineup may not be set in stone going forward, as the team is waiting to get Fred VanVleet (ankle) back from his injury. Plus, they will likely be looking to find a way to keep Amen Thompson heavily involved in what has been a breakout season for the forward. With that in mind, Smith's upside may not be as high as it was prior to his injury.

  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Strong showing in win

Sengun closed with 23 points (8-16 FG, 7-9 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists and three blocks across 35 minutes during Tuesday's 100-97 win over the Bucks.

Sengun racked up his 35th double-double of the campaign Tuesday. He's averaging 18.2 points, 11.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists over his last 11 games, but his overall fantasy appeal has been held in check by low defensive output and a poor showing from the free throw line -- he averaged 0.7 steals and 0.5 blocks in that span while hitting 67.1 percent from the stripe.

  • Rockets' Dillon Brooks: Plays well in win

Brooks notched 16 points (6-13 FG, 4-8 3Pt), eight rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal over 34 minutes during Tuesday's 100-97 win over the Bucks.

Brooks snapped a streak of three straight games in which he was held to single-digit points. He's been well outside the top-150 in nine-category formats through 11 February outings, averaging 13.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.6 steals and 2.4 three-pointers on 39.8 percent shooting from the field.

  • Rockets' Amen Thompson: Ejected Tuesday

Thompson has been ejected after receiving a Flagrant 2 foul with 4:27 remaining in the fourth quarter of Tuesday's game against the Bucks, Ben DuBose of USA Today reports.

Thompson's night ended early due to unnecessary and excessive contact to the head of an opposing player. He'll finish the game with nine points (4-8 FG, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, six assists, two blocks and one steal across 34 minutes. Jabari Smith should pick up the slack the rest of the way.

  • Rockets' Jae'Sean Tate: Good to go against Milwaukee

Tate (back) is available for Tuesday's game against the Bucks.

Tate was unable to play against the Jazz on Saturday due to back spasms. He went through pregame warmups without any setbacks, and he's done enough to be cleared to return Wednesday. He has averaged 3.1 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists over 13.9 minutes per game since the beginning of February.

  • Rockets' Jabari Smith: Shifts to second unit

Smith will come off the bench in Tuesday's matchup against Milwaukee, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Tari Eason will supplant Smith in the starting five for the first half of the club's back-to-back set. The 21-year-old forward has appeared in two consecutive contests (one start) following a 22-game absence due to a fractured hand, during which he has accumulated 16 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and one block across 67 total minutes.

  • Rockets' Tari Eason: Will start Tuesday

Eason (leg) will be in the starting lineup in Tuesday's game against the Bucks, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

After sitting out Saturday's game against Utah, Eason will start in his return and supplant Jabari Smith from the first unit. Over five games as a starter this season, Eason has averaged 13.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.2 steals and 1.6 blocks in 30.5 minutes, giving him enhanced fantasy appeal.

  • Rockets' Dillon Brooks: Available to face Milwaukee

Brooks (illness) is available for Tuesday's game against the Bucks, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Brooks was in jeopardy of missing his first contest since Dec. 27 due to an illness, but the veteran will suit up and should handle his regular minutes in a starting role. Brooks is averaging 13.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game while making 38.8 percent of his threes this season.

  • Rockets' Fred VanVleet: Will miss next two games

Head coach Ime Udoka said Tuesday that VanVleet (ankle) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against Milwaukee and Wednesday's game against San Antonio, Jackson Gatlin of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

VanVleet's absence streak will extend to 11 outings due to the right ankle strain. His next chance to play will come against the Kings on Saturday. With the 31-year-old remaining on the shelf, Amen Thompson and Aaron Holiday will likely continue to see an uptick in playing time.

  • Rockets' Steven Adams: Not on injury report

Adams (ankle) is available for Tuesday's game against the Bucks.

Adams is no longer on the injury report after missing Saturday's game against the Jazz, the second leg of a back-to-back set. The Rockets will play against the Spurs on Wednesday, so there's a chance Adams could miss that game if this trend continues.

  • Rockets' Tari Eason: Available to play

Eason (leg) will be available for Tuesday's game against the Bucks.

Eason missed Saturday's game against the Jazz as it was the second leg of a back-to-back set. The Rockets do play the Spurs on Wednesday, so there's a chance Eason could miss the second leg of this back-to-back as well with the Rockets taking a cautious approach with the forward.
