Ideally situated in the Yufuin Onsen district of Yufu, Yufuin Tsuru no Yu is situated 1 km from Kinrinko Lake, 26 km from Beppu Station and 37 km from Oita Station. Nice breakfast, clean room, and friendly staff. It is near the Yufuin Comico Art Museum, which is worth a visit.

Providing city views, Beppu Kannawa Onsen HIROMIYA is located in the Kannawa Onsen district of Beppu, 26 km from Resonac Dome Oita and 5.5 km from Beppu Station. It’s a traditional Japanese house, that the host Miho cherish very much. She genuinely loves having people over, and talk with them, even with the language barrier. She was kind and the onsen was so good, and every morning of my stay she left an egg steamed in the onsen steam overnight, by me door. Best experience I had so far in japan

I recently stayed at this onsen resort in Yufuin and it was hands down the best onsen experience I've ever had! The rooms were incredibly spacious, equipped with everything we could possibly need, including a microwave and all cooking essentials. The private outdoor onsen was simply spectacular, offering a serene and private escape. It felt like having our own private villa in the heart of nature. Yufuin itself is a charming town, adding to the overall magic of the stay. What's even more surprising is the affordability of this luxurious retreat. Having stayed in much pricier onsen resorts before, this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. I can't wait to return to this little piece of paradise in Japan. Highly recommended!

Set in Beppu in the Oita region, with Oita Fragrance Museum and Yama Jigoku nearby, Bettei Haruki offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. Great ryokan experience with delicious well-selected food. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We only regret that we happened to be in Beppu for only one night and it was the night of fire festival. Unfortunately, we missed the whole thing, because we had a dinner at the time of fire show. It’s just an another reason to visit Beppu again :)

Karatsu Seaside Hotel offers accommodation in Higashi Karatsu. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Each room at this hotel is air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Very spacious & big room. Exceeded my expectations. Very good view from the East Wing. Good spread for breakfast.

Situated in Yanagawa, 20 km from Yoshinogari Historical Park, Wakariki Ryokan features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The Hirayama Hot Spring is within 32 km of the ryokan. We liked everything about our 4 night stay here. Our traditional room was very comfortable and cosy. The traditional breakfast was delicious and our host was so friendly and welcoming.
