Honestly the hospitality was genuinely exceptional. We only stayed two nights as we wanted to see the shibu onsen and the snow monkeys, but my gosh did Omodaka make us feel at home. The style of the traditional Japanese rooms is pretty kitsch, with incredible views of the river and mountain. We were picked up from the station, dropped at the Monkeys and even 2 restaurants over our stay when we couldn’t brave the snow. It felt like spending the weekend at your grandparents. Also the Onsen are AMAZING with comfy Kimonos to wear around.

‘Apartment’, wrong description, a small room with an extra small bathroom, smaller than any stay in Japan. The staff is super remote, all questions are directed back to the booking app for you to resolve. Location ok. Our most disappointing stay in Tokyo and all of Japan.

Really nice hotel and very modern plus a brilliant rooftop bar for a few drinks and bite to eat at night. Rooms were clean and although a little tight, the layout was easy enough to manouver around. The location was great and only a 15-20 min walk from Dotonbori.

Lovely spot and great size room. Private bookable onsen was a lovely surprise as well. Owner was helpful and had great tips for getting around and for food/restaurants.

The long queues for luggage drop off and checking in can look intimidating however trust the process and the staffs know what they are doing.

Staff just wernt very helpfull, no staff help get our suitcases to the room, which was a first for me traveling usually a staff member will escort you to your rooms for every other hotel they did this but not here. We had a baby aswell with a pram so they could see we had our hands full. Breakfast was okay would of been nice ot have more seating. I do belive the hotel is more of a bussiness hotel for people there for work, not recommended for anyone staying with kids.
