Yamanouchi sekisan chi er staðsett í Yokokura, 4,3 km frá Jigokudani-apagarðinum og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, sameiginlegri setustofu og veitingastað. Everything was great! It felt like you had your own room while visiting grandma's house. The traditional Japanese style house was very comfortable and cozy and it was a great place to rest after a long day out. All the basic necessities were available, and there was even a complimentary ticket to the onsen nearby. The host lady was very nice and caring, always ready to help if you needed something. Location was also great, a short walk from the nearby train/bus station terminal to get to wherever you need. There is also a convenience store if you need to get snacks, and if you're hungry the host also runs a local Snack Bar Kitchen that you can order food from! Will definitely stay here again when i return!

Yadoya Shiroganeya er staðsett í Nagano, í innan við 20 km fjarlægð frá Zenkoji-hofinu og 22 km frá Nagano-lestarstöðinni. A great experience. Our host was super nice and friendly, our family had a utmost warm welcome and introduction of the house. Delighted to see a historical house so well taken care of and the cuisine was just exceptional. To keep it short, I just wish to have stay one more night!

The Bohemians' Shelter er staðsett í Hakuba, 8,3 km frá Tsugaike Kogen-skíðasvæðinu og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, sameiginlegri setustofu og verönd. Everything. Felt like home ! Gas is super organized, and also super nice ! I had great time there I wish I could stay longer! The home is so cozy, and dinner are AMAZING! You’ll find all you need there! Thanks again for the staying !

Residence Yasushi er staðsett í Nozawa Onsen, 22 km frá Ryuoo-skíðasvæðinu og býður upp á gistirými með heitu hverabaði og almenningsbaði. Wonderful and friendly staff, super comfortable big room, loved the beds and the private onsen. The afternoon complimentary cakes is such a lovely touch after a day of hitting the slopes. They also provide all the amenities including yukata for walking to the onsen/going down for tea, hot chocolate and coffee, nespresso machine in the room, pajamas and all the toiletries you might need.

Takimi Onsen Inn tekur aðeins við 1 hópi á dag og býður upp á hverabað og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Gististaðurinn er í innan við 40 km fjarlægð frá Ōi og 40 km frá Enakyo Wonderland. Truly one of the highlights of our time in Japan. The building, rooms, and onsen are incredible and the hospitality can't be beat. We were caught in a rainstorm before our scheduled pickup and the owners so kindly dried our sopping wet clothes and shoes. After that, we warmed up in the onsen which left our skin feeling so smooth and headed to a delicious and expansive dinner. We finished the night falling asleep to the roaring sound of the waterfall due to the heavy rains. We'll definitely be back.

Ryokan Warabino er með fjallaútsýni og býður upp á gistirými með svölum, í um 12 km fjarlægð frá dýragarðinum í Suzaka. Excellent service. Wonderful host - gentleman on front desk was exceptional

Guest House Raicho býður upp á gistingu í Norikura Kogen í Chubu Sangaku-þjóðgarðinum. Mt. Raicho Onsen Inn was our absolute favorite place to stay out of our 2 weeks traveling Japan. It had a friendly and open atmosphere - a great place to meet japanese and international travelers alike. It's a 5 minute walk to the Norikura Tourist Center which is a great place to rent e-bikes to explore the area (we biked Mt.Norikura along the Norikura Echo Line which begins at the tourist center), or grab a drink at their cafe. They also have an onigiri machine, but they run out pretty quickly. There's a yummy restaurant located inside an onsen which is right across the tourist center. There aren't too many walkable options for food, especially if you're a vegetarian, but Raicho Onsen Inn does a beautiful job of letting you know exactly what your options are with a collection of restaurants on their bulletin board. They even have a wonderfully designed large kitchen with inexpensive basic food items available for purchase such as pasta, tuna, canned corn, instant curries, some fresh veggies, etc. You can also purchase breakfast from them which is a bagel with different filling choices. Their computer lounge area is a great place to relax and hang out. We especially enjoyed the onsens, both indoor and outdoor, which are booked privately through a schedule on the wall. The inn is located next to many beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls (the entrance for one was literally 2 minute walk away!) We were only planning on staying 1 night, but my partner and I ended up staying for 3 nights.

Boasting open-air hot spring baths, a heated indoor pool and beautiful Japanese gardens, Senjukaku offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation that has a historic charm. Absolutely stunning, beautiful location, easy car parking. Huge room, comfortable sitting area, amazing views. Wonderful facilities.

Oomukou Ryokan er staðsett í Hakuba, 44 km frá Nagano-stöðinni, 46 km frá Zenkoji-hofinu og 700 metra frá Happo-One-skíðasvæðinu. 1 of the best services every provided in a living residence. The lady boss was even more friendly, and has top tier service in my entire traveling time. There was a lounge for me to relax at the late night timing with tea, super hot super clean onsen too!
