Quite a special house, made of logs. It’s very big. Upstairs is good for 6pax and there’s a small tatami area for another 2 pax. Kitchen is fully equipped and functional. Bedsheets and towels felt clean. Comforters and blankets were clean too. There’s a heater downstairs, can just on it for the night in the winter. It made the house warm the whole night. The caretaker of the property are very friendly and very responsive in communicating via booking message.

When we arrived the host gave us a warm welcome us and gave us a tour of the property before giving us the keys. The property was fully equipped, clean and big. It was also very well located, close to the shopping street and most touristic attractions of Yufuin. The host is available most of the time for assistance. Will definitely come back again.

The inn is a beautiful place with a lot of character, and you immediately feel at home. The hosts are sweet, generous and funny, and the food they cook is absolutely amazing. I stayed in a spacious, clean and comfortable Japanese style room. The inn is not in the center of town but rather in the quieter part of Yufuin, which was perfect for me. I enjoyed walking to and from the town, although the hosts made sure to offer me a ride to the grocery store and to other places, especially when the weather was rough. And of course, if you like cats - this place is heaven. The hosts have several funny and super friendly felines, which made my stay even more cosy and cuddly ♥️
