The view from the hotel is breathtaking, gorgeous and in the middle of nature. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We liked the buffet both for breakfast and dinner, there is plenty of choice.

Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. Staff are nice and professional. Great arrangement and communication in advance. Private onsen is perfect for a family with kids and elderly. We stayed here for 2 nights with great variety of food.

Inn NOSHIYU ligt in de wijk Kurokawa Onsen van Minamioguni, op 40 km van Aso vulkaan en 48 km van Kinrinko Meer. Er is gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Inn NOSHIYU is very tastefully constructed from natural timbers and is surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens. It is an easy walking distance from all the specialty shops in this lovely little traditional town. The staff were very helpful and collected us from the bus stop. The highlight of this property is the variety of hot spring baths you can enjoy and many of them are private so you can have them all to yourself without needing a reservation. The outdoor bath at night was amazing under the autumn foliage with the steam floating above the hot water. It was like a dream. The breakfast was delicious with very generous portions. I think this is the best Hotel to stay at in Kurokawa onsen

Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Grote kamer. Prachtige onsen. Heerlijk eten, met heel veel zorg bereid. Gezellig dorpje.

Kurokawa Onsen Yama no Yado Shinmeikan beschikt over 5 warmwaterbronnen, waaronder een 30 meter lang grotbad. Outstanding environment and staffing!!!

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. Amazing service! Enchanting scenery!

Nanjoen ligt in het centrum van de wijk Kurokawa Onsen en biedt in totaal 8 warmwaterbronnen binnen en buiten. We had a wonderful experience at Nanjoen...the Kaiseki dinner was fantastic, the staff was kind and helpful, location was terrific.

Fumoto Ryokan biedt verschillende binnen- en buitenbaden met warm bronwater en traditionele accommodatie in Japanse stijl met historische charme. I like the female service staffs that good communication in english and help me to setting up the surprise happy birthday party for my daughters.

Het Ryokan Wakaba heeft ruime warmwaterbronnen binnen en buiten en wordt omgeven door weelderig groen. Het biedt accommodatie in Japanse stijl in de rustige bergen. In een heel mooi dorp. Fijne kamer en uitgebreid diner.

Kurokawa-So is een traditionele ryokan accommodatie met 6 verschillende warmwaterbronnen, gelegen in een rustige vallei langs de rivier. A lot. We ended up getting a full Japanese 2-floor house, with a private outdoor onsen and a garden overlooking the nice river. I guess I wasn’t really sure what kind of room I had booked. Everything else was great, too much to mention. I at least have to mention that we especially enjoyed the private dining rooms with views on the maple leaves and the river.
