Sarajevo could be described as a captivating oasis of European cities, where East meets West in an integration of diverse cultures and a fascinating history mixed with a fresh cosmopolitan and charismatic vibe.
A museum in itself, Sarajevo is a sightseeing and history lover’s haven from the numerous mosques, churches and synagogues, to historic landmarks such as Sarajevo War Tunnel and Latin Bridge. Afterwrads, you could wander through the Old Town, which is a world on its own.
Sarajevo’s cultural diversity means a large selection of local delicacies. Be sure to visit Sarajevo’s historic and cultural hub Baščaršija bazaar, an ancient trading place with cafés, restaurants, cosy bars, art, and loads of accommodation options.
Booking.com has a great range of apartments, hotels and hostels located in the heart of the city and near Sarajevo International Airport.
Sarajevo is small but a very beautiful city. Even if it is small, there is a lot of things to do. Bosnian cuisine is great, transportation in the city is easy. Apart from seeing cultural monuments, you can get lost in the narrow streets of Sarajevo and buy some beautiful souvenirs or just you can go shopping. From Sarajevo it is easy to go to Mostar which is also a great city. My stay at Sarajevo was calm, beautiful and delicious.

On the first day my son went out downtown, the man tried to pull the wallet out of his wife's backpack. Thank God, they reacted quickly and saved her money. Our young lady was shocked by what happened. Be careful and keep an eye on your bags.

Amazing People, Amazing Food choices, Lot of walking, I would avoid the Summer time as as it gets crowded and too busy in Summer and one may not get good service from pretty much every place, best time to visit is Off Peak times like Late Fall, Winter or Early Spring

Sarajevo is a charming city with a unique blend of history, culture, and modernity. The old town is full of character, with stunning architecture, delicious food, and friendly locals. Plus, the nearby ski resorts of Jahorina and Bjelašnica offer fantastic opportunities for winter sports. It’s a great destination for anyone seeking a mix of tradition, contemporary vibes, and outdoor adventure. Highly recommend visiting!

In winter there is a lot of snow, very beautiful.
In winter there is a lot of snow, very beautiful. Everything is decorated festively, a small town for 1 or 2 days maximum. Everything is within walking distance, but we did not get on the funicular, because we were only there for one day. I recommend staying here for a day to take a break from the big busy cities. In cafes you can pay by card, but in the indoor souvenir market and in hostels you pay in cash in local currency. There are currency exchange offices in the center and there are ATMs. Supermarkets are open until 10 and only one is open 24 hours with a small selection

I was very disappointed with the city of Sarajevo.
I was very disappointed with the city of Sarajevo. The streets were filled with pickpockets, and our wallets were stolen in the old town, causing us to lose a significant amount of cash and important documents. Many other tourists have also reported thefts, so I urge everyone to be cautious when traveling here.

Everything is perfect. Mr Riyad is a very polite host. Everything in the room is thought out to the smallest detail. Comfortable slippers, tea, sweets, water are included in the price. White towels, good shower gel and shampoo. The view from the window is amazing, the room has a nice balcony. And, most importantly, a very clean room, the cleanest I have ever booked in Bosnia.
This hotel has terrible communicaon and booking system. They sold our booked rooms. When we get there they tried to send us another hotel with an expensive price. They put the rooms online and book it but dont keep rooms for the dates booked!
Stayed here during my motorcycle trip through Bosnia. The hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, free parking spot and there was even breakfast included in the price.
Kenan is a great house-owner, House is very clean and location of house is very close to city center. I would definitely book this place if I visit Bosnia again!
