Founded in 2018, the Innovation Lab tests and experiments with new content and technology to prepare the ABC for the future.  

We work collaboratively with teams and showcase innovative work being done across the ABC.

Using Unreal Engine for immersive storytelling

Breaking new ground with the ABC's Creator Program

The Creator Program brings together a team of YouTubers and TikTokers to reimagine how public broadcasting can connect with younger audiences. Ten months in, the results have been extraordinary.
