Dust (Benjy Davis Project album)

Dust is Benjy Davis Project's third studio album. It was released on September 18, 2007. Benjy Davis Project was soon signed to Rock Ridge Music in August 2008, and re-released Dust on November 4, 2008. The new release was remixed and included three new songs. The song "Sweet Southern Moon" was featured in an advertisement campaign for Louisiana-based Abita Brewing Company.

"Wonderful" is the fourth single by Marques Houston's third studio album, Veteran. It's the sixth track on the album. It was premiered on BET's Access Granted & Yahoo! Music on July 18, 2007. It peaked at #46 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs. This song was written by NeYo produced by Stereotypes.

Shangri-La Dee Da

Shangri-La Dee Da is the fifth studio album by American hard rock band Stone Temple Pilots. It was produced by Brendan O'Brien and released on June 19, 2001, by Atlantic Records.

Overview

Shangri-La Dee Da was originally planned to be a double album dedicated to the memory of Andrew Wood, but the concept was vetoed by Atlantic Records. While recording the album, the band also worked on a documentary and coffee table book. Neither was released, however, and limited footage was made available through the band's official website in the form of live performance-based music videos. Shangri-La Dee Da, although being certified Gold by the RIAA and the CRIA, was a commercial disappointment for the band after the success of their first four albums.

Planned double album

In late 2000, lead singer Scott Weiland said that the band planned to record a double album. Shortly after work got underway, bassist Robert DeLeo said that goal looked realistic, stating:

"Scott's in a space right now where we're not cramming to just get a single record done — he's in a space where I think a double record is possible."

Wonderful (The Beach Boys song)

"Wonderful" is a song written by Brian Wilson and Van Dyke Parks for American rock band The Beach Boys. It was released on their 1967 album Smiley Smile, but was attempted earlier for the Smile sessions. Wilson claims that he and Parks wrote the song along with "Heroes and Villains" "Cabin Essence" and "Surf's Up" in a giant sandbox with a piano in it that Wilson had moved into his living room. When released on Smiley Smile, Parks' credit was omitted.

The song has since been covered by a variety of artists.

Composition

The song's title derives from a pet name Brian Wilson had for his wife Marilyn. It is the only Smile composition to refer to God by name, and the only love song of the album. Co-writer Van Dyke Parks observed,

Author Andrew Hickey described its lyrics to be the story of a girl devoted to God and her parents who is thrown into emotional disarray after encountering a member of the opposite sex. Biographer Mark Dillon interpreted the song as the story of a young woman and her steadfast embrace of adolescence through the loss of her own virginity. He continues to describe the original version of the recording as "proto-psychedelic chamber pop".
