2009–10 Wessex Football League

The 2009–10 Wessex Football League was the 24th season of the Wessex Football League. The league champions for the second time in succession were Poole Town, who were again denied promotion to the Southern League due to ground grading problems. Wimborne Town were promoted as runners-up. There was the usual programme of promotion and relegation between the two Wessex League divisions.

For sponsorship reasons, the league was known as the Sydenhams Wessex League.

Premier Division

The Premier Division consisted of 22 clubs, the same as the previous season, after VT were promoted to the Southern League, and Hamble A.S.S.C. and Horndean were relegated to Division One. Three new clubs joined:

Division One consisted of 21 clubs, the same as the previous season, after Totton & Eling and Blackfield & Langley were promoted to the Premier Division, and two clubs were relegated from the Premier Division:

2002–03 Wessex Football League

The 2002–03 Wessex Football League was the 17th season of the Wessex Football League. The league champions for the first time in their history were Eastleigh, who were promoted to the Southern League. There was no relegation this season.

For sponsorship reasons, the league was known as the Jewson Wessex League.

The league consisted of one division of 22 clubs, reduced from 23 the previous season, after Fleet Town were promoted to the Southern League, Swanage Town & Herston were relegated and one new club joined:

1993–94 Wessex Football League

The 1993–94 Wessex Football League was the eighth season of the Wessex Football League. The league champions for the second time in their history were Wimborne Town. There was no promotion to the Southern League this season, but Whitchurch United were relegated.

For sponsorship reasons, the league was known as the Jewson Wessex League.

The league consisted of one division of 23 clubs, increased from 21 the previous season after Romsey Town were relegated and three new clubs joined:

In case one or more teams had the same goal difference, this system favoured those teams who had scored fewer goals. The goal average system was eventually scrapped beginning with the 1976–77 season.

Since the goal average was used for this purpose for such a long time, it is presented in the tables below even for the seasons prior to 1894–95, and since the goal difference is a more informative piece of information for a modern reader than the goal average, the goal difference is added in this presentation after the goal average.
