Stronger (Agnes album)

Stronger is the second studio album by Swedish singer Agnes Carlsson, released on 11 October 2006 by Ariola Records. Two songs from the album, "I Believe in You" and "I Had a Feelin'", were covered by German girl group No Angels on their 2007 album Destiny. The song "Love Is All Around" has been covered by artists from at least three other continents.

Reception

Markus Larsson of Aftonbladet stated, "Agnes is an obvious talent with a strong voice, but no one seems to know what to make out of it, not the record company, not the songwriters, not the producers, not even Agnes herself."

Nina Sköldqvist of Helsingborgs Dagblad wrote that Stronger contains a variety of genres, including "a heavy ballad" like "(What Do I Do With) All This Love", "spirited R&B" like "Kick Back Relax" and the "MTV-like" "My Boy" and "Everybody".

"@" (album)

"@" is a studio album by John Zorn and Thurston Moore. It is the first collaborative album by the duo and was recorded in New York City in February, 2013 and released by Tzadik Records in September 2013. The album consists of improvised music by Zorn and Moore that was recorded in the studio in real time with no edits or overdubs.

Reception

Allmusic said "@ finds two of New York City's longest-running fringe dwellers churning out sheets of collaborative sounds that conjoin their respective and distinct states of constant freak-out... These seven improvisations sound inspired without feeling at all heavy-handed or urgent. More so, @ succeeds with the type of conversational playing that could only be achieved by two masters so deep into their craft that it probably feels a lot like breathing to them by now".

?! is the third studio album by Italian rapper Caparezza, and his first release not to use the former stage name MikiMix.

Reception

Reviewing the album for Allmusic, Jason Birchmeier wrote, "The Italian rapper drops his rhymes with just as much fluency and dexterity as his American peers throughout the album. [...] Caparezza's mastery of the Italian dialect [makes] this album so stunning."

Live in Phoenix (stylized as **** Live in Phoenix) is the first live CD/DVD by American rock band Fall Out Boy. It was released on April 1, 2008 in the United States by Island Records, available as a CD/DVD set or CD and DVD separately. The CD is a live recording of the band's 2007 Honda Civic Tour, recorded on June 22, 2007 at Phoenix's Cricket Pavilion. The DVD features the entire live performance, most of Fall Out Boy's music videos to date (with the exceptions being the three from their Take This to Your Grave album and their 2008 cover of Michael Jackson's "Beat It" which was released as a single from this album), a wealth of behind-the-scenes footage, and a making-of segment for the "I'm Like a Lawyer with the Way I'm Always Trying to Get You Off (Me & You)" video, which was filmed in Uganda. Beyond the band's own hits ("Sugar, We're Goin Down", "Thnks fr th Mmrs", "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race"), a wide array of covers are included, such as Akon's "Don't Matter" Timbaland's "One and Only" and fellow labelmate Panic! at the Disco's "I Write Sins Not Tragedies".

Stronger (Ai song)

"Stronger" (stylized as "STRONGER") is a 2010 song by Japanese R&B singer Ai, featuring fellow R&B singer Miliyah Kato, released on October 27, 2010. The single was her fourth single released in 2010 for her 10th anniversary, and the leading single from her 8th studio album, The Last Ai. The B-side of the single was a collaboration with American rapper Snoop Dogg.

Composition and inspiration

As a part of Ai's 10th anniversary, she had been collaborating with many artists, such as "Fake" featuring Namie Amuro, "Still..." feat. AK-69 and "Wavin' Flag (Coca Cola Celebration Mix) (Sekai ni Hitotsu no Hata)" with K'naan. When the collaboration single offer was presented to Miliyah Kato, who is good friends with Ai, her reaction was "Finally! I feel so honoured. It's like a dream I've been imagining has become real." The song was written by Ai and Kato together, with both deciding such things as the lyrics, music, and which parts to sing.

The song is a contemporary R&B dance pop song. The lyrics are a message song, instructing the listener to survive through "any kind of future," and talks about the limits of a person. In news articles, the song is described as being about "The strength to keep going forward, even when hurt."

Stronger (Gary Barlow song)

"Stronger" is the first single from British singer-songwriter Gary Barlow's second studio album, Twelve Months, Eleven Days. The single was released on July 5, 1999 and was Barlow's first solo excursion into dance music.

Song information

According to his autobiography, Barlow objected to "Stronger" being released as a single. He believed that due to its dance-orientated background, it would prove less popular amongst fans. However, after much deliberation, Sony BMG decided to release the track as a single, believing that fans would enjoy something different, rather than Barlow's regular pop-ballad style.

"Stronger" was performed live many times before it was announced as a single, most notably at 95.8 Capital FM's Party in the Park, on the April 12 edition of Top of the Pops, and as the finalists' dance track on Italian talent show Festivalbar.

Music video

The video for the track was filmed in Vancouver, Canada. Barlow stated in his autobiography that he wanted to be constantly doing something in the video so Director Dani Jacobs changed the original concept of the video.

Stronger with Each Tear

Stronger with Each Tear (stylized as STRONGER withEach Tear) is the ninth studio album from American R&B and soul singer Mary J. Blige. The album was released in the US on December 21, 2009, under Blige's own imprint, Matriarch Records.

Internationally it was released December 18, 2009, in Australia and Germany, December 21 in France, December 23 in Japan, and on February 2, 2010, in Korea with further international releases (in some cases re-releases) in March, April and May 2010. With this album, Blige achieved a record of nine albums to have debuted at the top of the US R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

Background

Blige started working on her ninth album while she toured with Robin Thicke in 2008. In an interview with Rap-Up magazine she said:

The album was initially titled Stronger after the song, "Stronger" which Blige recorded and released as the lead single from the soundtrack Music Inspired by More Than a Game from the LeBron James' documentary More Than a Game. However Rap-Up later revealed that the album had been re-titled Stronger with Each Tear.
