Papa (song)
"Papa" is a song written by Stephen Poliakoff and Adrian Johnston for the BBC drama Gideon's Daughter. The song is originally sung by Emily Blunt's character Natasha (and is occasionally referred to as Natasha's song) to her father (played by Bill Nighy) during a performance at her school. The performance features vocals with flamenco style acoustic/classical guitar accompaniment by renowned classical guitarist Georgina Whitehead. The song, which forms a pivotal part of the story in Gideon's Daughter, was inspired by the tragic life and writings of Marie-Georges Simenon (Marie-Jo), daughter of the novelist Georges Simenon, who committed suicide by shooting herself at the age of 25.

Papa (Hangul: 파파; RR: Papa) is a 2012 South Korean comedy-drama film written and directed by Han Ji-seung. Park Yong-woo stars as a talent manager who persuades his step-daughter from a contract marriage, played by Go Ara, to audition for a reality TV show in the United States.
Go Ara was nominated for Best New Actress at the 48th Baeksang Arts Awards, the 21st Buil Film Awards, and the 33rd Blue Dragon Film Awards in 2012.
Plot
Choon-sub (Park Yong-woo) is a talent manager from South Korea who flies to America to chase after his client who ran away with another manager. He soon learns that she is with child and would be unable to pursue her career. To avoid returning to Korea and face his boss, he gets a residency permit through a contract marriage with a Korean-American woman. When his wife dies in a car accident, he is left with her 6 children, all of different races, from her previous marriages. He discovers that the eldest daughter, June (Go Ara), is a talented singer and dancer. Now in need of money, he convinces her to take part in a reality TV show contest. Because the children need Choon-sub to keep the family together and not be relocated to different homes, June agrees.

RealAudio
RealAudio is a proprietary audio format developed by RealNetworks and first released in April 1995. It uses a variety of audio codecs, ranging from low-bitrate formats that can be used over dialup modems, to high-fidelity formats for music. It can also be used as a streaming audio format, that is played at the same time as it is downloaded. In the past, many internet radio stations used RealAudio to stream their programming over the internet in real time. In recent years, however, the format has become less common and has given way to more popular audio formats. RealAudio was heavily used by the BBC websites until 2009, though it was discontinued due to its declining use. BBC World Service, the last of the BBC websites to use RealAudio, discontinued its usage in March 2011.
File extensions
RealAudio files were originally identified by a filename extension of .ra (for Real Audio). In 1997, RealNetworks also began offering a video format called RealVideo. The combination of the audio and video formats was called RealMedia and used the file extension .rm. However, the latest version of RealProducer, Real's flagship encoder, reverted to using .ra for audio-only files, and began using .rv for video files (with or without audio), and .rmvb for VBR video files. The .ram (Real Audio Metadata) and .smil (Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language) file formats are sometimes encountered as links from web pages (see Streaming Audio section below).

Personal life
Ram (Full name: Ram Pothineni) is the son of Murali Mohan Pothineni, the nephew of noted film producer Ravi Kishore Pothineni, popularly known as Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. He was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He did his schooling at Chettinad. Dr.Ramesh babu of Ramesh hospitals in Vijayawada and Guntur is his uncle.
Career
Ram made his debut in 2006 with Devadasu and the film went on to become a blockbuster, running for 500 days in over a dozen centers. His second film, Jagadam was directed by Sukumar. Though it did not do well at the box office, it received critical acclaim. He then appeared in Ready alongside Genelia D'Souza directed by Srinu Vaitla with the film becoming a huge success, prompting remakes into other Indian languages and catapulting him to the big league. In 2009, he had two releases, Maska and Ganesh Just Ganesh, the latter was not successful at the box office. Maska had one of the biggest openings at the time, collecting over ₹2.5 crores on the opening day and recovering its investment within the first week. In 2010, Ram had only one release, Rama Rama Krishna Krishna, produced by Dil Raju and directed by Srivaas. Ram's next film Kandireega was a big blockbuster of 2011 and Ram proved to be the man of the masses along with his lover boy image. His next latest release was Endhukante Premanta with Tamannaah, directed by Karunakaran and produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. The movie was shot in the beautiful lavish locales with a huge budget but it turned out to be an average grosser.
