Jason White (born November 11, 1973) is an American musician best known as a guitarist for the American punk rock band Green Day. He played as a touring member of Green Day since 1999 until 2012, where he became an official member of the band, with Green Day becoming a four-piece group. He is also the guitarist and vocalist for the Californian punk band Pinhead Gunpowder, and co-founder of Adeline Records alongside Billie Joe Armstrong.
In late 2014, he was diagnosed with tonsil cancer.
In the Summer of 1992, White filled in guitar duties at the last minute for Bay Area punk band Monsula, who were performing at Little Rock, AR club Vino's. After the performance, Jason toured as guitarist for the band and eventually relocated to the Bay Area after the breakup of Chino Horde in summer 1993. White joined The Big Cats in 1996, after the temporary departure of bassist Josh Bentley, and took over guitar duties in 2000 after the death of guitarist Shannon Yarbrough. The group is a side project of many musicians, playing live very rarely. Their newest record, On Tomorrow, was released in 2007.

Jason Lee White (born 28 January 1984) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Northern Premier League Division One South side Scarborough Athletic. He has previously played in the Football League for Mansfield Town.
White joined Third Division side Mansfield Town after being released by First Division side Nottingham Forest at the age of 16 and made his debut in September 2002 against Cheltenham Town when he came on as a substitute to replace the injured Kevin Pilkington. He made only 13 appearances during the 2005–06 season, as he was usually understudy to Pilkington and later Kevin Pressman. But he was still offered a new contract in April 2006 and began the 2006–07 season in goal. He went on to make 33 appearances that season. By the end of the 2007–08 season, White had made over 50 appearances for Mansfield, despite this he was transfer listed in January 2009 and left the club at the end of the season when his contract expired.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, United States of America, he now resides in Nashville, Tennessee. He began his career as the lead vocalist and songwriter for The Janglers, a Cleveland-based rock band, then as the frontman for Jason White and the Dying Breed. He later moved to Nashville where he continues his career as a solo artist and songwriter. White has released four solo albums, Shades of Gray (2000), Tonight’s Top Story (2004), The Longing (2011), and Journal (2013). He tours throughout the U.S. and is a regular performer at songwriters’ festivals. He is also known for writing “Red Rag Top”, a controversial hit song for country artist Tim McGraw, as well as compositions for other artists, including: Old Crow Medicine Show and Liam Titcomb.
Jason White was the second child of Keith Ernsberger White (1930–2012, architect) and Leatrice Alonzo White (1923–2013, interior designer). White began playing guitar at the age of seven and wrote his first song at 12. He fronted several local garage bands in his Cleveland Heights, Ohio neighborhood during his elementary school years. At University School in the seventh grade, he met John Treadway (born June 19, 1967) who also played guitar. The two formed a partnership and began performing as Treadway and White in school talent shows, local cafes, and house parties. After attending college for one year, White dropped out of Middlebury College and Treadway left Yale University so the two could pursue their musical interests.
