Orange is a 2012 Malayalam film directed by Biju Varkey who had earlier directed films like Devadasi, Chandranilekkulla Vazhi and Phantom.

Plot

Yakobi (Kalabhavan Mani) is an orphan who works in a dairy farm, where he drives his own lorry on a contract basis. Orange is the name of his lorry. He falls in love with Saritha (Lena) and gets married. His sisters neither relatives did not know about this marriage. Later Saritha gave birth to babygirl Diya (Diya Babu ). Whenever he goes to his native place, his relatives enquire why he is still staying as a bachelor.

As usual when Yakobi was returning to Kambam after visiting his native place, a man asked him a free lift. While continuing their journey Yakobi came to know that his name was Muthu (Prakash Nath) and he was coming to attend an interview for a job in the dairy farm where Yakobi is working. But unfortunately they could not reach the farm within time. Yakobi somehow made arrangements to get a temporary job for Muthu in the dairy farm.

Petit (EP)

Petit is an EP by Japanese singer-songwriter Ua, released on October 21, 1995. Like its lead single, Petit also failed to chart on the Oricon charts. The EP was re-issued on September 22, 2005.

Horizon (festival)

Horizon is the annual science and technology festival of Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarang. Horizon hosts a variety of events including competitions, exhibitions, lectures and workshops. Horizon aims to provide technically inclined Indian youth a national-level platform where their talent and expertise can be recognized and rewarded. Having grown rapidly since its nascent years, Horizon is attended by students across India.

History

Following some years in abeyance “Horizon” was revived in 2014.

Horizon’15

The 3 day techno cultural festival featured many events including “Gully Cricket”, “Scavengio”"Troubleshooting”, “Google It”, “Junkyard wars”, “Roboveda”, “Lyrics

interpretation”, ”Zah reh”, and the IGIT version of ROADIES, the I-Roadies. .

A treasure hunt attracted over 500 searchers. Evenings featured live music by multiple bands from across the state.

Workshops covered among other things Android app development, Ethical hacking, and artificial intelligence.

Horizon (magazine)

Horizon: A Review of Literature and Art was an influential literary magazine published in London, UK, between 1940 and 1949. It was edited by Cyril Connolly, who made it into a platform for a wide range of distinguished and emerging writers. It had a print run of 102 issues or 20 volumes.

Connolly founded Horizon with Peter Watson as its financial backer and de facto art editor. Connolly was editor throughout its publication and Stephen Spender was an uncredited associate editor until early 1941. It had a small circulation of around 9,500, but an impressive list of contributors, and it made a significant impact on the arts during and just after the World War II. Connolly issued an all-Irish number in 1941, an all-Swiss number in 1946 and a U. S. number in October 1947. There was also a French issue and one comprising The Loved One, the novel by Evelyn Waugh.

In Unconditional Surrender Evelyn Waugh created a character, Everard Spruce, who, like Connolly, was the editor of a literary review, liked good food and parties, and was surrounded by helpful young ladies. In reality two of these ladies at Horizon were Clarissa Eden and Sonia Brownell. Brownell met George Orwell through the magazine and later married him.
