Fearless (Terri Clark album)

Fearless is Canadian country music singer Terri Clark's fourth studio album. It was released in 2000 on Mercury Nashville. The album produced three singles in "A Little Gasoline", "No Fear" and "Getting There", which respectively reached #13, #27, and #41 on the Billboard country charts. A fourth single, "Empty", failed to chart. Clark produced the album with Steuart Smith, except for "No Fear" and "A Little Gasoline," which the two produced with Keith Stegall.

Critical reception

Thom Jurek of Allmusic referred to the album as "an attempt at breaking out of the bonds of contemporary country without leaving the music entirely behind" and praising Clark's songwriting.

Rescue: Special Ops

Rescue: Special Ops was a Australian television drama series that first screened on the Nine Network in 2009. Filmed in and around Sydney, the program is produced by Southern Star Group with the assistance of Screen Australia and the New South Wales Government.

This drama series focuses on a team of experienced professional paramedics who specialise in rescue operations. It premiered on Sunday 2 August 2009, and the season finale of the first season aired on Sunday 25 October. A second season screened from 28 June 2010. The third and final season consisting of 22 episodes screened from 30 May 2011. The Nine Network has confirmed it will not be renewing Rescue Special Ops for a fourth season.

Synopsis

Rescue: Special Ops follows the work of a team of experienced paramedics involved in complex search and rescue operations.

The job brings them face to face with life and death situations every day but just like anyone else, they juggle life, love and career. Brothers Dean Gallagher and Chase Gallagher are competitive alpha males who are part of the Special Ops team.

Eight writers and journalists in a variety of countries investigated the economic, political, geographical and historical reasons that account for why people are divided. The series was produced in 1989 - just a few months before the fall of the Berlin Wall, which was featured in one episode.

History

Worcester Polytechnic Institute was founded by self-made tinware manufacturer, John Boynton, and Ichabod Washburn, owner of the world’s largest wire mill. Boynton envisioned science schooling that would elevate the social position of the mechanic and manufacturer, but not necessarily teach the skills needed to become either. Washburn, on the other hand, wanted to teach technical skills through a sophisticated apprenticeship approach. Boynton consulted Seth Sweetser, a pastor, for ways to realize his vision. By chance it happened that Ichabod Washburn had previously consulted Sweetser about the proper way to actualize his own vision.
