MATE (/ˈmɑːteɪ/; Spanish pronunciation: [ˈmate]) is a desktop environment forked from the now-unmaintained code base of GNOME 2. It is named after the South American plant yerba mate and tea made from the herb, mate. The use of a new name, instead of GNOME, avoids conflicts with GNOME 3 components.
GNOME 3 (released in April 2011) replaced the classic desktop metaphor, substituting its native user interface: GNOME Shell. This action led to some criticism from parts of the free software community. Some users refused to accept the new interface design of GNOME and called for continued development of GNOME 2. An Argentine user of Arch Linux started the MATE project in order to meet this demand and announced the availability of Mate on 18 June 2011.
MATE has forked a number of applications originating as the GNOME Core Applications, and developers have written several other applications from scratch. The forked applications have new names - mostly in Spanish:
Marco is a fictional character in the DC Comics universe. He is a martial artist created by writer Dennis O'Neil and artist Denys Cowan as a supporting character to The Question, and he first appeared in The Question Quarterly #2 (1991). Marco's name is a pun, a reference to the question mark.
Born in Brazil, Marco learned English from his father, an American who had fled to Brazil after killing somebody in New York. Marco was abandoned by his father (who was apparently murdered soon after) at age eight. The best martial artist in Brazil and a master of Capoeira, Marco defeated every fighter he could locate in his homeland. Marco went searching for better fighters, only to be soundly defeated by Lady Shiva. After Shiva complemented him on his skill, Marco asked for a rematch. Shiva told Marco that he would have to earn that by defeating a fighter that was better than him. Shiva then told Marco about Richard Dragon, possibly the best fighter in the world, who had recently retired. When Marco asked if Richard had taught any students, Shiva told him about The Question, Vic Sage, who had learned from Richard. Shiva agreed to fight Marco again if he defeated Sage first.
Dollar was a French motorcycle made by Ets. Delachanel in Joinville-le-Pont from 1925 to 1939.
The motorcycles were made in several models ranging from 98 cc two stroke to 750 cc overhead valve four cylinder engines. There were also one and two cylinder models, with a sheet metal frame and Cardan shaft final drive. Dollar made its own engines, but also used Chaise overhead valve engines.

Dollar (Scottish Gaelic: Dolair) is a small town in Clackmannanshire, Scotland. It is one of the Hillfoots Villages, situated between the Ochil Hills range to the north and the River Devon to the south. Dollar is on the A91 road, which runs from Stirling to St Andrews. The town is around 3 miles east of Tillicoultry. The parish of Muckhart extends right up to the eastern edge of Dollar, despite Muckhart's much smaller size. This encompassed Dollar Mine and Pitgober.
The major attraction in Dollar is the 500-year-old Castle Campbell, lowland seat of the Duke of Argyll, where Mary, Queen of Scots once lived in the 16th century. The residence was chosen for its proximity to the court in Edinburgh and to Clackmannan Tower, Alloa, Stirling Castle and Linlithgow Palace.
The walk to the castle is a vigorous ascent by a spectacular series of paths, bridges and walkways in the deep gorges of the glen and its tributaries. Unfortunately, the most spectacular section has had to be closed due to the risk of landslip (a part of which was re-opened Summer 2007), but alternative routes are available. There is also a road to the castle, accessible by car, for the less energetic.
Dangerously in Love is the debut studio album by American recording artist Beyoncé. It was released on June 20, 2003 by Columbia Records. During the recording of Destiny's Child's third studio album, Survivor (2001), the group announced that they would produce solo albums to be released. Recording sessions for the album took place from March 2002 to March 2003 at several studios, during the hiatus of her then-group Destiny's Child. As executive producer of the album, Beyoncé took a wider role in its production, co-writing a majority of the songs, choosing which ones to produce and sharing ideas on the mixing and mastering of tracks.
The tracks in the album are a mixture of uptempos and ballads, which are basically inspired by R&B and soul genres; it also features elements of hip hop and Arabic music. Although Beyoncé remained discreet about her interpretation of the songs, its underlying meanings were attributed by music writers as an allusion to her intimate relationship with boyfriend (later husband) and well-known music mogul Jay-Z. Dangerously in Love received positive reviews from music critics upon its release, with critics praising Knowles' "artistic leap". The album also received numerous accolades, earning Beyoncé five Grammy Awards.
(Chorus)
Dollar signs, dollar signs,
Dollar signs, dollar signs.
Looking at the ground, seeing dollar signs,
Look up in the sky, seeing dollar signs.
Dollar signs, dollar signs,
Dollar signs, dollar signs.
Looking at the ground, seeing dollar signs,
Look up in the sky, seeing dollar signs.
(Verse)
Wake up in the morning, money on my mind.
From the streets, you know I'm never on time
Bails and bricks, I got that all the time
Disrespect the streets, this shit will take your shine.
You ever see Js on the lunch line
All my trap houses got open, son.
I know some rap niggers that ain't got a dime,
Couldn't take the pressure when it's crush time.
You rappin lies, you rappin lies.
I read your contract and you ain't make a dime.
I made my contract, so all my money mine,
The jugg hoe's where I resign.
(Chorus)
Dollar signs, dollar signs,
Dollar signs, dollar signs.
Looking at the ground, seeing dollar signs,
Look up in the sky, seeing dollar signs.
Dollar signs, dollar signs,
Dollar signs, dollar signs.
Looking at the ground, seeing dollar signs,
Look up in the sky, seeing dollar signs.
(Verse)
See, we're talking dollar signs, this what I do by two some
Anyone can't hang around me unless you can shoot some
House plus money, that's a pile cake,
Tell ‘em got that f'ing thing, so don't get pancake.
Listen, in the clubs we're on reload,
And the kicks come from relo, never text a bitch, she in though
Remember the spot in pink city next to C bone
Everytime you look up, bitch, I get my cook up.
We can put the eye down, get the pirate patch
Put the gun in the sense like you would shoot that bitch
Always buy, never renting,
And murders this shit, yeah, you got a percentage,
You know this.
(Chorus)
Dollar signs, dollar signs,
Dollar signs, dollar signs.
Looking at the ground, seeing dollar signs,
Look up in the sky, seeing dollar signs.
Dollar signs, dollar signs,
Dollar signs, dollar signs.
Looking at the ground, seeing dollar signs,
Look up in the sky, seeing dollar signs.
(Verse)
Look up in the sky, got it raining money,
Don't hold your ass down, you might miss something
I started as a boss, I never been around him
My daddy was on dope, my mama was a hustler.
My little brother gone, I got all the custom,
I can see it in your face that you ain't got no money,
Anybody get it when I rap it, dummy.
Sex, money, murder, I salute my homies,
But I don't gang bang, I got this bigger on me,
I know I look like money, don't you run up on me.
Dollar signs, dollar signs,
It's good to run six, man, it's grind time.
(Chorus)
Dollar signs, dollar signs,
Dollar signs, dollar signs.
Looking at the ground, seeing dollar signs,
Look up in the sky, seeing dollar signs.
Dollar signs, dollar signs,
Dollar signs, dollar signs.
Looking at the ground, seeing dollar signs,
