Pink

Pink is a pale red color, which takes its name from the flower of the same name. According to surveys in Europe and the United States, pink is the color most often associated with love, beauty, charm, politeness, sensitivity, tenderness, sweetness, childhood, femininity, and the romantic. When combined with violet or black, it is associated with eroticism and seduction.

Pink was first used as a color name in the late 17th century.

Pink (Boris album)

Pink is the tenth album by Japanese experimental band Boris. The album was originally released in 2005 through Diwphalanx Records in Japan and subsequently reissued in 2006 by the US label, Southern Lord Records. Upon release the album received very favorable reviews, largely for taking a more melodic and accessible direction than the band's previous work.

The original version of the album released in Japan in 2005 presents itself with a different cover (shown on the right side), track names, and length. All of these elements were subsequently modified on the first reissue of the album. The album's length was extended significantly on the LP version of the album. Additionally, a music video was shot for the title track which was limited to 100 copies on DVD. Since then, the music video has been included in the limited edition of the album Smile, also published by Southern Lord.

The full-length version of the track "Farewell" from the vinyl edition appears on Boris / Variations + Live in Japan. It was also re-recorded for the collaborative studio album with Merzbow, Gensho.

Pink (LGBT magazine)

Pink is a quarterly LGBT-focused full-color glossy print magazine launched in 1990 in New York City and headquartered in Chicago, Illinois with content geared towards major markets in San Francisco, New York, Denver, Los Angeles and Seattle as well as a national edition.

The magazine sometimes sponsors community events. In 2007 they held a fundraiser for the re-election of San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom, and a "Cupid's Back" Valentine's fundraiser for the GLBT Historical Society. In 2008 they co-hosted "Ladies Night at Charanga" a benefit for the Stop AIDS Project.

Daydreaming (Paramore song)

"Daydreaming" is a song by the American rock band Paramore, from their self-titled fourth studio album, Paramore (2013). The song was released as the album's third single on December 2, 2013 in the UK.

Reception

The song received mostly positive reviews from critics. AbsolutePunk regards "Daydreaming" as a song that "channels The Smashing Pumpkins at their prettiest in a cool way." According to Billboard, the song is "...not as whimsical as its subject matter, but solid nonetheless."MTV Buzzworthy describes the song as a throwback to 1990's dream pop, saying "When the chorus hits, it's a thunderclap." Popdust rates the song a 4/5, saying "The song’s sugar-rush bridge, which is capped by a grandiose rush of riffs and guitars, seems not only designed for maximum lighter (or phone)-hoisting, it’s plush enough for Williams’ song-ending assertion that she’s all right to sound like it’s being issued from a safe place fashioned by the crashing music that preceded it."

At Renowned for Sound, Jana Angeles regarded it as a "solid track", saying "...it's fantastic to see how the band have emerged from being a pop punk band into a band that isn't afraid to challenge themselves by experimenting in other musical genres." Ed Masley at The Arizona Republic ranked it as the 5th best Paramore song, commenting "Does it sound a little like a female-fronted Goo Goo Dolls in "Iris" mode? It does. But in a good way."

Who Knew?

Who Knew? is the second commercially released album from R&B artist Keke Wyatt. It features the title track, which served as the album's lead single. The album contains material from her previously shelved albums Emotional Rollercoaster (2005, Cash Money Records/MCA) and Ghetto Rose (2007, TVT Records). It was released on February 23, 2010.

On the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, it peaked at No. 35, also reaching No. 30 on the US Billboard 200 chart.

Daydreaming (Massive Attack song)

"Daydreaming" is a song by Massive Attack with vocals by Shara Nelson. The song samples "Mambo" by Wally Badarou (the "fifth member" of Level 42), from his album "Echoes" (1984). "Daydreaming" was released as a single on 15 October 1990, six months before their debut album Blue Lines. It reached #81 in the UK Singles Chart.
