Chapman Entertainment was formed in 2002 by Keith Chapman, Greg Lynn and Andrew Haydon, bringing a wealth of experience from their backgrounds in advertising, television and the music industry.
After three years of development and pre-production Chapman’s first show, Fifi and the Flowertots was commissioned and launched on Five’s Milkshake! Nick Jr. in May 2005. Since the production of 104 episodes of this delightful stop frame animation, Fifi and the Flowertots has flourished in to one of the top pre-school brands for girls in the UK with over 50 licensees representing over 600 sku’s and sales of over 20 million products. The brand has also blossomed internationally with the show now sold to over 162 counties!
Chapman’s second winner, Roary the Racing Car, was launched in May 2007 on Five’s Milkshake! and Nick Jr. Roary has quickly become a household name with pre-school boys and now has 32 licensees in the UK and is racing his way around the world, sold to 110 countries.
With the commissioning of another 52 episodes of Roary the Racing Car, Chapman Entertainment has opened the doors to Chapman Studios in Altrincham, Cheshire employing over 20 talented staff to fulfil all its production needs, including all forms of animation and live action.
Chapman Entertainment is a growing company with big ideas and successful IP and are currently developing new show concepts for a range of age groups. The next project is a joint collaboration with Weta Workshop, acclaimed throughout the world for their work on films such as Lord of the Rings and King Kong, to develop a children’s television concept.
