piyaz is one of the most typical Turkish dishes."
Piyaz, he explained, is a white bean salad flavored with onions and
plenty of parsley and dressed with olive oil and lemon juice. The
savory salad is topped with black olives and hard-boiled egg wedges.
In Turkey you find piyaz on street carts, where it might be part of
a "meal deal" - you also get ground meat kebabs, as well as a glass
of tangy liquid …
