Now, David Quantick might not be a name that springs immediately to the forefront of your tongue-tip when naming British comedy icons. As a self-proclaimed �clip show whore�, you'll have seen him being amusing on all manner of �100 Greatest� programmes, but his contribution to comedy is by no means limited to this ubiquitous talking head act. Indeed, were he to write his CV, he'd have trouble fitting it onto one side of A4 in the recommended fashion. He's written for cult series like The Day Today, Brass Eye, Jam, and Screenwipe. He's put words in the mouth of Graham Norton, Harry Enfield, and Jonathan Ross. He co-created the world's first internet-only sitcom. And he's part of the team who endure painful hours of televisual dregs to bring Harry Hill's TV Burp to the screen.

Fortunately, his weekly exposure to the degradation of human imagination and endeavour represented by the TV listings hasn't embittered him against the world at large. In fact, he was kind enough to let us turn up at his house, point a camera at him and ask him some questions. Here's the resultant footage:
