The Steering Committee Meeting was held on Sat., July, 19th. 2008 at St. Mark's United Methodist Church
in Baytown, Texas at 2:00 P.M.Ideas for the Organizational Meeting were discussed.
The Organizational Meeting was held on Sat., Feb. 20, 2010 at the meeting room of the City of Baytown Hall Annex, located at, 212 W. Defee at 2 PM. The Founding Board of Trustees were elected.
The First Alumni May Meeting, on Sat., May 22, 2010 at 2 P.M. at the meeting room of the City of Baytown Hall Annex, located at 212 W. Defee at 2 PM. Project Graduation and Scholarships were discussed.
The First Alumni November Meeting will be held at El Toro on Garth Road in Baytown, Texas
on Thursday, November 11th with a mixer starting at 6:30p.m. and meeting starting at 7:00 p.m.
This meeting is open to all Goose Creek Schools Alumni and Class Representatives.
We will be discussing Project Graduation for all three high schools.

GOOSE CREEK SCHOOLS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
Your Goose Creek Schools Alumni Association,
(Baytown, Texas), is in the business of developing relationships with
alumni, students, parents, and friends by providing meaningful
services, tangible benefits and engaging programs that inform, educate
and inspire.
Some of what we do:
- Serve as the primary vehicle for alumni to stay connected with classmates, friends
and the associations resources.
- Provide alumni exclusive programs for social, networking, career, ongoing education
and reunions as well as helping graduates leverage the alumni community skills,
resources, and guidance.
- Strengthen ties between the Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District
and alumni, students, parents, and friends of GCSAA.
- To provide a source of historical information about all past and present schools of
GCCISD, (including Goose Creek High School, Cedar Bayou High School, and George
Washington Carver High School), and to promote school spirit, loyalty and fellowship
among alumni, students, faculty, and friends of Goose Creek Schools
- To promote our association through fundraiser's such as Alumni Week, Reunion Mixers,
Project Graduation, and Annual Appeal
Therefore, We the alumni of Goose Creek Schools, would like to ensure
that Graduates of all Goose Creek CISD High Schools (including Goose
Creek Memorial and any future high schools) have the necessary funds
and resources available now and in the future to maintain graduate and
post graduate activities. This associations vision is necessary and
shall be vital in an effort to make funds available for each of these
schools, graduates and eliminate competition for donations.
Our alumni association can be unique and strong.
Through fundraiser's, membership dues, the generous support of alumni
and the community we could reach the ultimate goal of guaranteeing any
GCCISD graduate who qualifies and desires to continue his or her
education that the lack of money will not be the reason they are unable
to continue their education.
We sincerely invite you to join our effort.
