Welcome to Steveeyre's unofficial Derby County Kit history The history has been established for over 4 years now and has been very popular New features are the designs for kits that never got made and one that did only to be 'binned' at the last minute, also coming soon will be the kit history in graphic form Also we let you in to details of the first ever shirt sponsor The kits now go in order of oldest first So have fun and why not let me know what you think. can you fill in any gaps Do you want to donate your shirt for any future museum ? please contact me regards steveeyre check out section 6 just added ! includes the play off kit also in the graphics section News I have had lots of queries regarding the fact that SAAB were the first shirt sponsor of The Rams and not BMA I can assure fans that this is not the case - the SAAB shirts were only used in a promotional capacity and never actual shirts as shirt sponsors were not allowed. Around 1976/77 DCFC struck a deal with a local SAAB dealer (Believed to be Woodford at Mickeover) who via SAAB sponsored the Rams 1st team players giving them the use of a SAAB car each . The deal included various advertising around the ground and on tickets etc. The players were seen in various photos wearing a SAAB shirt as an indication of how shirt sponsorship would look if allowed . These shirts were also worn by the Golden Goal Girl ticket sellers around the ground. A mock up of the shirt now appears in the history (section 2) ------------------------------------------------------------ Get paid for surveys between 50p and 1 per time this is not a scam and is a genuine money earner based in the UK I have earned 50 this year already please
