Alfreton History

Alfreton History website and Alfreton Historical Archives is a community based project created and owned by Alfreton Fellowship (a social enterprise project promoting Alfreton Town in Derbyshire, UK).

The Alfreton History project website publishes historical records and information in an online searchable format. The project aims to preserve records, information and memories and make them publicly available to people around the world.

It is a comprehensive resource for fact finding anything to do with or related to Alfreton Town, Alfreton People, Alfreton Places, Alfreton Villages and hamlets, Alfreton Geneaology, Alfreton family history and heraldry, Alfreton farming and agriculture, Alfreton transport and Alfreton industry and commerce.

An extension to this project is the Alfreton Town Wiki Project, which aims to collect current and historical facts as a collaborative online project.
