2007 HOMECOMING INFORMATION

The Village of Barrington has announced that the railroad crossing on Route 59 (Hough Street) just north of Main Street (Lake Cook Road) will be closed from September 18-28 in order for Union Pacific/Metra to reconstruct the crossing.
Union Pacific will be establishing a temporary detour route during the construction period.  No local streets will be used for this detour; the route will be state roads only.
The Village will post updates on their website and on the local access Channel 4.  If you have any questions, you can contact the Public Works Department at 847-381-7903, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
