Xe's exchange rates are generally on the higher side - particularly for USD -> INR conversions and I switched from Wise (TransferWise) to Xe nearly 2 years ago and have so far haven't been disappointed with my choice. Wise is still good if you need faster transfer but Xe has the sweet spot if you have few days to spare.

Staff are knowledgeable, supportive, and clearly explain the process and options available. Staff are transparent, very responsive. I felt well taken care of, and that I was in great hands. Excellent service - Highly recommend.

XE truly is a good service. That said, it takes too long to get money transferred via EFT. Amazingly, they take the money out of the Sending account within hours, and then it just sits in oblivion (gaining interest for XE?) for about 4 days before being finally sent to the Receiving account. We will use XE until we can find a more timely service.

I don't understand why it takes 4 days to transfer money from the US to Canada. I can have it wired in like 4 hours through my bank but the rates are not competitive. Why does Xe need 4 days?

Sending money by ACH is a little slower than other payment methods. This is because we need to receive your money before we can transfer it to your recipient. This can take up to 3 working days. Once we’ve received your money, your recipient should receive it within 1-4 working days.

What can i say. Fantastic service! I sent a lot of Euros to have exchanged for Canadian. I sent XE the exact amount of Euros after my trade was complete and by the time it got to them, the greedy little banks that the money was transferred through took a little piece of thee pie. So my agreed amount owing to XE was short when it got to them and the transaction would not complete. Having calling customer service XE credited me the amount it was short for my transaction to complete. It was a very nice and grateful thing for them to do as a good will gesture. I have transferred quite a lot of money through them and its safe and fast. Highly recommend using there service.
