Experienced clinical academic with a strong track record in interventional cardiology, coronary CT and general cardiology, as well as working in the higher education sector. Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (London) and Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Skilled in clinical cardiology and teaching as well as basic science laboratory expertise including cell culture, myography and vascular biology. Ph.D. in Cardiovascular medicine from The University of Manchester with post-doc experience from Harvard medical school, Boston. Currently co-supervising PhD student.

Current role since Jan 2024: Clinical Lead for Cardiology. Consultant Interventional and General Cardiologist (University Hospitals Sussex). Regular cath lab, CTCA and clinic sessions at Worthing hospital. Providing general cardiology on-calls at Worthing and Primary PPCI/ STEMI on-calls at Brighton hospital.

Previous role 2021-2023:
Consultant interventional cardiologist based at Northland District Health Board in NZ and an Honorary Senior Lecture at both The University of Auckland (NZ) and The University of Manchester (UK).
I provided interventional cardiology as well as coronary CT services at Whangarei hospital which serves the Northland region of NZ. I held regular cardiology clinics at two hospitals: Whangarei hospital and Bay Of Islands hospital.
I was the Cath lab education lead at Whangarei hospital and was the lead for Trainee Intern training for department of medicine at Whangarei hospital.

2020-2021: British Cardiovascular Intervention Society (BCIS) International Fellow based at Auckland City Hospital (NZ).
