At banking scale, reliability is not a feature you deliver once. It’s a discipline you practice daily. In this engagement, our SRE team focused on ensuring the platform behaved predictably under live production load, not just during controlled scenarios. We enabled continuous API Gateway monitoring, strengthened observability across downstream systems, and built clear escalation loops for partner and backend failures. This helped identify faults earlier, recover faster, and reduce MTTR without disrupting active users. As a result, incidents were managed before they became disruptions. The platform stayed stable even during peak banking traffic. The real outcome wasn’t just availability. It was confidence. Confidence that issues surface early, failures are handled decisively, and systems behave predictably under pressure. That’s what SRE-driven reliability looks like at scale. Octopus Electroverse teams up with Visa Octopus Energy’s electric vehicle (EV) charging platform Octopus Electroverse has teamed up with digital payment firm Visa. The move will see the launch of Electroverse’s new business payments card, which aims to make it "easier for fleets to pay, track and save on the move", it said. The Business Payments Card works as both a traditional fleet card and a full spending card, allowing drivers to cover everything on the road from EV charging to tolls, car washes, and meals.
