Analysts project DeFAI's market cap could surge from 25x-50x to $25–$50 billion by 2025, marking it as a high-reward opportunity for forward-looking investors.📈 2️⃣Grayscale Rebalances Crypto Funds with Strategic Portfolio Adjustments Grayscale Investments has rebalanced the portfolios of its four multi-asset funds: the AI Fund, DeFi Fund, GDLC Fund, and GSCPxE Fund, during its Q4 2024 review. The updates include adding Livepeer to the AI Fund and Curve to the DeFi Fund while removing Synthetix. "Ledn is likely now responsible for more than 50% of the retail loan originations." — Adam Reeds, CEO Ledn processed over $1.16 billion in #DigitalAssets loans in the first half of 2024! Of the $1.16 billion total, loans to institutional clients accounted for $969 million. This included a huge 29.8% jump in retail lending from Q1 to Q2. 📈 The #BitcoinHalving and the launch of #EthereumETFs in Asia were the two biggest drivers. Taking a step back, it's clear that the surge in crypto-backed loans signals a maturing sector that is becoming a fully viable alternative to traditional finance.
