Cosmsos interoperability network includes many big names, such as dYdX, Sei Network, Injective Labs and Celestia Labs. This is pretty huge news, given that Ondo has now deployed its products across such a large number of thriving ecosystems. The arrival of US exchange traded funds (ETF) that invest in Ether has thrown up the question: which cryptocurrency is next? Katalin Tischhauser, Head of Research, at Sygnum Bank, commented in the Financial Times about #Solana ETF applications by VanEck and 21Shares: “It cannot be approved [by March 2025] unless there is an acceptable surveyable market for the SEC, and currently there isn’t one.” Viewed by some as a fast and inexpensive alternative to Ethereum and an option for high volume payments needed in TradFi, the Solana blockchain is being used today to tokenise real-world assets, such as the private credit fund launched by investment manager Hamilton Lane, but also to launch meme tokens.
