👁Q2 summary Q3 outlook!👁 In Brain+, we have achieved important progress on all fronts in Q2. Businesswise, we have passed several milestones as we execute on our UK focused commercialization plan: 1) First of all, we completed the development of our CST-Assistant v 2.0 to support CST therapists and scale the delivery of Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) to people with dementia. This is an essential step towards commercial release of the Danish product version in the coming days and of the English version for the UK market as a medical device towards the end of Q3. 2) We obtained supportive early user feedback in the ongoing usability study of the CST-Assistant conducted by AgeUK, which is progressing according to plan. Data from the study will feed into the UK certification of the product as medical device. 3) We applied for the CST-Assistant to be included on the digital procurement platform for the UK National Health Services (NHS) and we established a Brain+ UK subsidiary for access to UK NHS contracts and UK grants. 4) Under the grant funded CO-PI project for implementation of the CST-Assistant in Denmark, we held the first CST education sessions, including hands-on training of new CST therapists in the use of the CST-Assistant. This new approach has been met with strong interest from CST opinion leaders and trainers in the UK. 5) Finally, we recently informed of the hire of Devika Wood into a new position as Chief Commercial Officer. Devika is UK based and a recognized capacity in the health tech world, in particular in the UK. She has founded, built and commercialized health tech solutions with successful adoption into the NHS. Her hire marks the beginning of a new phase for Brain+ with focus on the commercialization of our products in Europe’s most attractive health tech market. In terms of financial position, we have closed our unit rights issue with gross proceeds of 6.0 million DKK, including strong backing from board and management as well as existing shareholders. During the public subscription period, we attracted further commitments, including from a specialized health tech investment boutique, called 5P, future of health. This marked the first ever institutional investment into Brain+. The far majority of the guarantors of the transaction have opted to have their compensation fee paid in units to be issued in a directed issue under the same terms as in the public issue rather than in cash. This is a supportive sign of investor interest and commitment in the share. Q3 is all about preparations for UK medical device certification of the CST-Assistant and UK market entry. Activities to these ends include finalizing the UK version of the CST-Assistant, ensuring UK regulatory compliance, and certifying the product as medical-device-software with medical claims, while continuing to build customer interest and initiate potential sales dialogues. All this will be laying the ground for our 2024 main objective, first UK sales. Kim
