    As Entertainment representative I, along with my co-representative, were responsible for organising college events throughout the year. This ranged from the freshers week organisation to the college parties and larger events. With college parties and similar events we arranged circa 4-5 events per term which helped my organisational skills. Our larger events involved a black tie event on the river Thames for which we recruited a committee of which we were chair. This was again very useful for…

    As Entertainment representative I, along with my co-representative, were responsible for organising college events throughout the year. This ranged from the freshers week organisation to the college parties and larger events. With college parties and similar events we arranged circa 4-5 events per term which helped my organisational skills. Our larger events involved a black tie event on the river Thames for which we recruited a committee of which we were chair. This was again very useful for organisation but also required creativity to design an event from scratch, as well as good team management and people skills.

    As the college rugby captain I was responsible for organising the weekly training sessions, planning and running them with my vice captain. This helped my develop good organisational skills, as well as working on my leadership and teamwork. I also had to contact companies for potential sponsors and then after securing two sponsorship deals I collaborated with one of them to help organise a 10's tournament in Oxford.
