Ecom founders - if your CRO guy is giving you a guarantee like " % CVR increase or 100% money back guarantee" is Scamming you. Because if you don't reach your CVR goal, Very likely - You'll not get your money back. Its like your Fanancial Advisor telling you Give me $10K i'll get back $1,000,000 to you in 1 year You know what happens then..... There are a million things outside of your CRO strategist control, which is in your control as a founder, You need to Build, Test and Optimize again and again To reach your goal. There's no set on the stone way to covert above 10% CVR Keep on Testing....

I booked 13 sales calls with DMs on LinkedIn last month. Using my 5-step stranger → client process👇 1/ Create a list I invest £99/mo to Sales Nav and create a list using the lead search. I aim for 80% of the search results to fit my target market. I will usually apply filters for: Company size, Job title, Geography, Profile Language, Industry, Posted recently on LinkedIn. I then save this list to use until I run out of results. 2/ Connection requests I send 200 blank requests every week. My acceptance rate ranges from 40-50%. A low acceptance rate (~20%) indicates a poorly optimised profile or poorly targeted connection requests. 3/ Say hi I send a compliment as a 1st message. I mention specifics about they’re profile or a recent post so they know it’s not a copy-and-paste message. All I want is a positive reply (ie. “thanks”). If they don’t reply, I follow up with another compliment and a question you’ll see in the next step. 4/ Diagnose For every reply I follow the (A)cknowledge (C)ompliment (A)sk framework. So if someone mentions they’ve had 1 or 2 sales calls come in, I’ll compliment them for getting the 1st few in and then ask a question around the consistency of sales calls. I keep my questions specifically around the problems and pains around my service (wanting to sign clients, wanting more sales calls, wanting inbound leads etc.)and I will keep asking questions until… 1. I keep asking until I find a pain point 2. I realise they don’t my help 3. They stop replying If they don’t reply, I follow up a day later with “Just bumping this message in case it was missed :)” As sometimes people are busy and miss your message. 5/ Book a call I offer a call as soon as they’ve admitted to a problem I can solve. In the message I include some credibility showing I’ve solved this problem before for someone in a similar position to theirs. I spend ~1hr a day sending DMs. The result? 13 sales calls in 1 month.

Here’s they are and how to fix them: 1. High-quality leads When paying for PPC ads, you want every click to be high-intent to reduce wasted budget as much as possible. Investment Companies struggle with getting high-quality leads who are ready to invest. To fix this, target long-tail keywords that only high-intent leads would search. 2. Compliance There are many laws surrounding advertising for investment companies. Knowing what rules you need to comply with before putting any ads out is crucial. Do your research. 3. High expenses Marketing can be expensive. And it’s pointless if it’s expensive and you’re getting 0 return. Optimise your audience/ keyword targeting so that you’re targeting as many high-intent leads as possible, then optimise your landing page for conversion. This may cost more at first, but you’ll get more sales out of it.

This is the secret to launching ventures and getting them to revenue within a month. Selling... and 2. Having something to sell. Then, it cuts them down to their simplest form. (No-code projects can be built in weeks, and LinkedIn posts can be written in an hour). Firstly LinkedIn (Make a fuss and see if people react — you can use any social channel) 1. Whenever I kick something off, I make a fuss about it. 2. If people respond, I know I'm onto something. If they don’t, it’s back to the drawing board. 3. It gets views, it gets likes, and it starts a conversation. I follow up with people who interact to gather more information. 4. I use that to gauge whether there is potential. 5. I then have conversations with potential users to guide MVP creation. Then no-code (Build something simple using a no code tool to see if they people will actually use it) 1. Build something simple to get in front of people. 2. Only build core features to start with. 3. Launch it to a live domain. 4. Push users that engaged to it. Then linkedIn again (Now we have something — let’s send traffic to it) 1. Design viral-style posts to chase impressions. 2. Push traffic to the MVP to see what happens. 3. Talk to users to understand their usage. 4. Chase early sales to validate the business model. It’s worth investing 3,000$ For a 1% improvement in conversion If you sell your service for $1000, And 100 people view your site per month, And on average it takes 100 people to view your site before 1 person buys your service. You convert at 1%. If you pay $3000 to get that to 2%, While it is a big investment (depending on circumstances) it pays for itself in 3 months and then you’re making a much bigger profit. Is this a stupid general example that won’t apply to most situations? Yes. But this is just to showcase how important conversion rate is and why we care about it so much. This is why web design is profitable. 1. Find out your conversion rate, 2. See if it can be improved and if it’s profitable to do so, 3.
