Embracing the digital age to enhance maternal healthcare, West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust has launched a significant innovation - a dedicated app that gives expectant mothers immediate access to their maternity records. Replacing the paper-based system utilized for generations, this application is the first of its kind in Hertfordshire and West Essex, modernizing the way pregnancy, birth, and postnatal records are accessed and maintained. Called BadgerNet, it serves the dual purpose of ensuring prompt access for clinicians and minimizing the risk of vital paperwork being lost or missed. In the year since its launch, nearly 8,000 mothers have benefitted from this app. Not only does it help keep crucial health information at their fingertips, but it also allows questions to be answered by midwives before appointments, reducing anxiety during what can be an overwhelming time. We are a pre seed start-up company and we are looking for a Bank to guide and support us. We are already signed up for the NHS Innovation Hub and I am a lay subject matter expert for NICE and I am a Research Champion for the London North West NHS. Other qualifications are in my personal profile attached. We are launching a new rPPG (using the Camera on a Smartphone or on a Tablet to assess a person’s vital signs). We are at the forefront of cutting edge technology and we propose to stay there. Remote Patient Monitoring solutions linked to one of our Medical-Grade Tellihealth Smartwatches give you even more assessment of even more health issues and concerns. We are also considering adding a Holter Cardio Smart Wearable Patch as well as other emerging technologies so that we are ahead of all other offerings in the market place. We propose a soft launch in January 2025 and to launch fully in March 2025. Just to confirm that I am forming a Medical Advisory Board for our not for profit arm of TDihealth Community Interest Company. This far we have two entities. Total Digital Inclusion Global Limited the commercial arm of the Tellihealth business. We distribute and sell Tellihealth Smartwatches, Blood Pressure Monitors, Digital Thermometers and a host of other Home health test equipment. We also sell monthly and annual subscriptions to the TDihealth Facial Scanning solutions, our Ambulatory Holter Smart Wearables and other health Technology solutions. Under the TDihealth Facial Scanning solution we propose to offer a limited trial period to everyone FREE of charge. The goal is to hopefully hand responsibility for one’s health and wellness back to the patient and HOPEFULLY A take some pressure off of our overstretched NHS. There is an option to subscribe to continued use on a monthly or annual basis but limited access to everyone is to remain FREE for life. That is my goal. I propose to have a Medical Advisory Board of maximum 5 people (3 already appointed). This board to include 4 Medical Doctors with various specialties and PPI lay person to add a patient’s perspective. The main board will be made up of 6 people, myself, a Technical Director, Sales Director a Marketing Director, an Operations Director and a Company Secretary, all already appointed. It’s the last #TGIF of 2024, and I’m still savoring one of the most inspiring moments from our Plant’ish: Let’s Talk About It series! Four weeks ago, Chef Sebeq Randle asked Asha Wheeldon, founder and CEO of Kula Foods “What food could you eat every day?” Her answer? Sukuma Wiki. I’ll admit, I paused— what exactly? “Collard greens,” she clarified, and my soul lit up! Growing up, I loved cornbread and collard green sandwiches, a Lumbee Native American dish my grandmother used to make. Naturally, I was intrigued. After our session, I had to dig deeper into Sukuma Wiki, a beloved Kenyan dish that literally means “to stretch the week.” It’s a vibrant, savory sauté of collard greens cooked with tomatoes, onions, and a blend of spices like ginger, turmeric, cumin, and coriander—classic ingredients, rich in flavor and culture. So here’s my take: Kenyan-style Sukuma Wiki paired with Kula Foods' Plant-Based Ginger Beef, Kula’s Pili Pili Hot Sauce, and Garlic Lime Zest Rice. 🌱🫚🍅🧄🍋‍🟩 It’s hearty, nutritious, and full of love and tradition. "Digital Health and Care Wales publishes organisational strategy for 2024-2030, highlighting need for “a digital and data revolution” “NHS in Wales is at a turning point. The challenges we collectively face are complex and ever-changing; improving health and reducing inequalities against a backdrop of the ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and limited funding. But the opportunity to transform health and care is also significant.” The strategy sets out five missions, including ✅ providing a platform for enabling digital transformation ✅ delivering high quality digital products and services ✅ expanding the digital health and care record ✅ driving better values and outcomes through innovation ✅ being a trusted strategic partner and a high quality, inclusive and ambitious organisation. On providing a platform for enabling digital transformation, DHCW’s future model is a single data platform and a single digital health and care record, which it states will become “the foundation for all digital services and applications in Wales”. Open architecture to support innovation and the development of data standards for health and care are also highlighted as key features. Plans to 2030 include moving all data stores and services to the NDR platform to create a single national Clinical Data Repository, extending data standards and components to social care and other partners, and establishing an all-Wales framework for sharing health and social care data. Nice to see the homeland trying to move things forward (I'm half Welsh!) There's that slippery phrase "enabling digital transformation".... will be interested to see how this manifests. #diitalhealth #strategy

We’re Oversubscribed for 2025! All gone before the year even began. Here’s what I learned (and I hope it helps). Our Moneywise Doctor Mastermind for 2025 sold out completely by December 30, 2024. This is a 12-month programme designed exclusively for medics who want to take charge of their finances through: → Confident and careful investing → Intelligent tax optimisations → Building a solid foundation for long-term financial freedom We started with a waiting list that grew to 10x our capacity. No flashy ads. No aggressive selling. No sales ‘discovery’ calls. Just consistent value, an engaged community, and trust built over time. We were planning a launch for the first week of January. Now that ship has sailed. Fully booked. All before I hit "launch." And now, I’m left wondering—what do I do with the beautiful offer page I’ve been building? 😅 I’m humbled, grateful, and reflecting on what this means for 2025. If you’re planning to grow a content, coaching, or consulting platform this year, here are a few lessons I’ve learned along the way: 1. Serve, Don’t Sell Solve problems and add value first. Sales naturally follow when you build trust. Telling beats selling—and selling is better without the sleaze. 2. Community > Audience Followers are great, but building a true community is everything. My LinkedIn grew to over 7k followers in a year by consistently showing up, sharing insights, and helping doctors make smarter financial decisions. I appreciate the audience. However, I treasure the Moneywise Doctor community and the opportunity to provide more on a deeper level. 3. Transparency Wins Trust Honesty is the ultimate marketing hack. Be clear about what you can and cannot do. Highlighting the limited capacity helps the right people to act decisively. 4. Engagement Takes Time This wasn’t overnight. Digital Health and Care Wales is to develop new functions for Wales' National Data Resource platform for health and social care - the plan is an element of one of five missions set out in the new strategy, to run until 2030, from the special health authority with responsibility for #digital #transformation in the Welsh #NHS. So you have completed a project in digital health. And you’ve written up a report. Now just one thing left to do. Get it published. If only it was that easy.
