This is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life - the opportunity to help the dedicated, hard-working staff team of a special education needs (SEN) school catering for young people struggling to gain a foothold in our competitive, somewhat intolerant world, through no fault of their own. To see them celebrate every small achievement and continue to develop and learn is by far, the best experience anyone could hope for. Come and join me!

Organisations around the world are struggling to cope with the technology drivers around cloud, mobile, social and big data. This is forcing an accelerated transformation agenda toward 'digital' business models incorporating cloud-based solutions and 'everything-as-a-service'.

The twin challenges of enabling business growth by delivering new business solutions & services, balanced with decreasing internal budgets, require innovative strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs in the back-office (service delivery), whilst investing in and re-inventing in the front-office (consumer engagement).

CIO’s can tackle this challenge in a number of different ways. But perhaps the flavour of the month is now to talk about Service Integration or Multi-Supplier Integration.

This ‘new’ model brings a greater focus on achieving business outcomes through joined-up, end-to-end service delivery & management. But is it really different to what we all are used to in the world of Service Management transformation?

Perhaps by examining these two approaches to the same business challenges you can explore what the differences really are and develop an approach which works best for your organisation.
