How to validate an offer on a budget? We recently took on a gentleman running a biz ops optimisation agency. He was trying to sell to other agencies. From selling to agencies, we immediately knew he'd have a tough time getting them to buy. Most agencies' biggest bottleneck is client acquisition, not operations. Any resources they can spare, will be directed to that. So, it would be difficult to sell to them in the first place, and also to command higher prices. We analysed the work he had done - case studies etc - and saw that his expertise could be leveraged in an industry with a lot more purchasing power, and that would benefit a lot more from said service. The financial services industry. M&A firms, VCs, PE firms... You get the idea. They have money to invest, and their operations are more complex than agencies. So we advised him on how to: 1. Optimise his Li profile; 2. Craft the necessary marketing material; 3. Write compelling copy. From sending just 50 messages he received 8 positive responses. 16% PR rate means you have something special! It cost him $0, and a fraction of the time it would've taken to do this via cold email. Long story short: test your offer via LinkedIn if you're on a budget. It works.

Traditional B2B Sales Experience: Manager to Sales Rep: "What are you working on?" Sales Rep: "Oh, I'm just doing some prospect research here on LinkedIn." Manager: "Ok." Sales Rep: "Yes, I've spent the last two hours building a list of 10 people to contact. I know they went to university at Oxford, so I'll work this into my pitch. I'm sure this will make the difference." Manager: "When are you making calls?" Sales Rep: "What I like to do is a multi-channel approach. First, I'll like their posts, then a day later I'll follow them. After that, I'll send them an email, then connect with them the next day, and then send another email..." Manager: "What about just picking up the phone and calling them?" This is the antithesis of what the Lead Gen Department is. A sales rep like this wouldn’t last a day here. They would either be making calls or wasting another company’s time and money. But they won’t be wasting our clients’ money. Put simply, our clients want results. It’s amazing what can happen when you throw out all the "multi-channel garbage" and just pick up the phone to have a real conversation with a decision-maker. Of course, we use LinkedIn and email too, but far too much attention is given to all these different touchpoints. In my opinion, just pick up the phone and call. When you have professional, experienced team members, you can cut through all this noise with a quick call.

Some end-of-the-week results showcase - 📉 Cost Per Conversion reduced by 99.1% 📈 Conversion Rate increased by 12,512% 📈Conversions increased by 31,950% 📈New Contacts increased in CRM by 97.1% 📈MQLs increased by 35.7% Key Insights 💡 1️⃣ Before we took over the account, ad money was being spent but without proper conversion tracking. Can't emphasize enough how important that is. 2️⃣ A focus on middle and lower-funnel conversions, considering people who click on Book a Demo as a conversion, Meeting Bookings, and Form Fill ups as conversions. This helped the Ads algorithm collect data and also push for lower funnel conversions simultaneously. 3️⃣ Previously the account was running Dynamic search ads which didn't make much business sense and CPA was astronomical. When Google hints at another algorithm shake-up. Identifying and sizing your total addressable market (TAM) is so important if you want to launch successful demand generation and ABM motions. If your marketing sucks - take a peek at your strategy. Are you heavy into PPC, SEO or other search marketing? Please don't think of me as being 100% anti-search. (I’m like 42% anti-search) But I’m definitely against one tactic taking up the majority of your budget. Unless that budget covers multiple channels - like a good marketing strategy should. Nas only needs One Mic, But your marketing requires multiple channels, with attention to the mindset of the users in each one.
