• Drafted the Towards Zero Waste sector plan for the public sector in Wales on behalf of the Welsh Assembly Government determining the strategy and approach to achieving significant waste reduction.
• As the KTP Regional Development Manager worked in partnership with regional sponsors and a team of seven regional advisers resulting in increased number of businesses engaged with KTP in 2010/11.
• Maintained and produced over 130 up to date environment and sustainability guides for businesses on behalf of the Welsh Assembly Government for publication on the business.wales.gov.uk website. Authored a guide for business on how to set up a green business providing a nine step plan for individuals in establishing a new green business.
• Designed and created environmental diagnostics and calculators for the Welsh Assembly Government: an on-line small business self diagnostic (going green tool) and a carbon calculator for public sector organizations (waste carbon calculator).
• Delivered the Wales CO2 and other GHG Emissions baseline results for 2005 and 2006 in 2009 on behalf of Carbon Trust Wales for use by the Welsh Assembly in development of policy. Thoroughly reviewed the methodology used and provided appropriate alternative approaches to enhance the validity of assumptions and robustness of data used. Analysed results and provided commentary on trends and differences seen since 2002.
• Piloted the Low Carbon Cities Programme (LCCP) in Bristol on behalf of the Carbon Trust and Energy Savings Trust to develop joined up city-wide low carbon strategies. Show less
