The common denominator(s)? As we continue to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of #AI, it's crucial to balance the awe-inspiring advancements with thoughtful considerations for privacy and ethical implications. The future is certainly bright (and perhaps a little bit surreal) with #AI leading the way, but for boards there are a number of important questions to be asked: ❓Are we already using #AI (even unknowingly), and how do we ensure full visibility of applications? ❓How is it governed, who approves access, use and auditing of #AI applications? ❓Do we audit suppliers on their use of #AI, and how this might be affecting us? ❓Has #AI been built into our procurement processes, both internally to improve our procurement process but also vetting our vendors' use of #AI as part of the procurement DD process? ❓How is #AI reflected in our risk register, and what mitigating steps are we implementing? ❓What guardrails are in place to ensure that, where we are using #AI, the data cannot be used by externally available #AI applications? ❓Are we measuring the ROI on #AI? If so, how? ❓How are we considering the impact of the use of #AI on our #ESG and #responsible #business commitments?
