On the eve of Formula 1’s season opening weekend, we’re reminded of what makes the sport so exciting 💫 As the pinnacle of motorsport, Formula 1 is all about innovation, teamwork and performance. Ensuring the brightest minds have the resources and access they need to succeed in the sport is key to unlocking every team’s potential. That’s why we launched the Motorsport Scholarship, in partnership with Royal Academy of Engineering, to accelerate the engineering careers of talented students from underrepresented backgrounds. 🗣️ Hear from Motorsport Scholar, Gerren Ntiri, as well as Ariana Bravo, Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team and F1’s Head of ESG, Ellen Jones, about why the drive for diversity is vital for the future of the sport. Mainstream schools should have the resources and flexibility to support more pupils with #SEND. Pepe DiIasio highlights the urgent need for reform - early interventions can prevent crises, yet families and schools face unnecessary battles for support.📚 Mission 44 is proud to be part of the Who Is Losing Learning? Coalition, working towards practical solutions to reduce lost learning and make schools more inclusive for every child. 📖Read more in Tes: https://lnkd.in/esAqyqGt

🗣️ “I’ve gone into schools and spoken to young people about the experience of being excluded.” - Rose, young campaigner At Mission 44, we know that schools can’t #preventexclusions alone. That’s why we’re calling on the government to commit funding for schools and external partners to work together, to support vulnerable students at risk of school exclusion. Young campaigners like Rose, who has worked closely with our partners Coram and The Difference, highlight how collaboration between educators and people within the local community are vital to creating more inclusive environments in schools. 🔗 Find out more about our policy recommendations as part of the Nothing Happens in Isolation campaign: https://lnkd.in/eVc-RCJX

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity I had to attend Mission 44’s STEM event at the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix. It was a truly inspiring experience that shaped my perspective on motorsport. Hearing from Ellen Jones sparked my interest in sustainability and how motorsport can lead the way in driving positive environmental change. Susie Wolff’s work with F1 ACADEMY, empowering women in motorsport, really resonated with me and reminded me of the importance of breaking barriers and creating opportunities for women in the industry. I was also inspired by Lewis Hamilton and Mission 44 for promoting diversity and inclusion in motorsport, showing that we all have a place in the sport regardless of our background.
Happy #InternationalWomensDay 💫 On our visit to the United States Grand Prix, we caught up with Feyi, Ingrid and Amrutha, who attended Mission 44’s STEM inspiration event at Circuit of The Americas. The inspirational day, exploring the Formula 1 paddock and hearing from F1 ACADEMY Managing Director Susie Wolff, opened the door into the magical world of motorsport and helped to shape their studies. 🗣️ Hear from Feyi, Ingrid and Amrutha on how the event impacted their aspirations for the future. #IWD2025 #AccelerateAction Ann Richards School Foundation
