Hannam & Partners initiates coverage of Pan Global Resources Inc., an experienced explorer which holds the strategically located Escacena project in Spain’s Iberian Pyrite Belt, an established poly-metallic mining district. The project is a 30-minute drive from Seville, <20km from First Quantum’s Las Cruces operation, ~8km from Grupo Mexico’s re-development of Minera Los Frailes and ~30km from Atalaya’s Riotinto mine. With a high-quality local team and led by CEO Tim Moody, former Exploration Director and VP Business Development at Rio Tinto Group, PGZ has defined several copper-rich volcanogenic massive sulphide targets. The most advanced is La Romana, where PGZ has identified mineralisation over a 1.7km strike length, following drilling totalling ~37km. Also within Escacena, 16 holes on the Cañada Honda area showed economic copper-gold grades and potential to be another sizeable, albeit deeper, deposit. Meanwhile drilling has begun at satellite targets including Bravo and La Pantoja, offering bluesky discovery potential. Beyond Escacena, PGZ’s Cármenes Project in northern Spain spans two historical copper-cobalt-nickel mines, Providencia and Profunda. Upcoming drill results from Providencia could provide further positive catalysts, including testing of a zone below a highly encouraging channel sample of 37m at 3.11g/t Au reported in Q1. Our CEO Ed Mason has just wrapped up a week in Paris and London, meeting with investors, project partners and banks as part of upcoming project financing for our Townsville-based project, Project Ulysses. Special thanks to Airbus's Julie Kitcher, Julien Manhes and Bruno James, who hosted us at the International Paris Air Show and arranged a number of productive meetings with funds. It was also great to catchup with Technip who are leading the engineering work, Trade and Investment Queensland, LanzaJet and McKinsey & Company. And of course - the team at Hannam & Partners HCF / HCF International Advisers Ltd led by Samuel Merlin, Sean Gorman and Eloise Martin who are busy in London advancing and structuring the project debt.
