We’re thrilled to celebrate the first anniversary of our incredible partnership with Yorkshire Building Society! This marks the successful start of our ambitious 2.5 year partnership. With one year down and two to go, we’re excited by all we’ve accomplished together and even more excited about the opportunities ahead to expand our impact. Highlights from our first year have been nothing short of extraordinary. Over 240+ YBS colleagues came together for a 26 mile hike across the Yorkshire Three Peaks, raising over an incredible £51,000, what an achievement! YBS is funding our impactful employability program, which is set to help 2,500 people secure sustainable employment. This initiative addresses the root causes of poverty by improving employability and reducing financial hardship, paving the way for brighter futures. From fundraising initiatives to volunteering efforts, YBS colleagues have embraced this partnership with enthusiasm and generosity. 🎉 Celebrating 11 Years of Partnership with Asda! 🎉 This month, we're thrilled to mark 11 incredible years of working together with Asda to fight food waste and tackle hunger. In that time, ASDA has hit an incredible milestone— they have redistributed the equivalent of 40 million meals! 🍽️ Thanks to this partnership, over 8,000 charities and community groups receive surplus food from Asda’s stores and depots, ensuring perfectly good food avoids waste and reaches those who need it most. 💚 Here’s to more years of partnership, innovation, and working together to provide access to surplus food for those who need it while reducing waste. 🌍👏
