  • The summer holidays are here – and Celtic Soccer Academy is back in full swing, powered once again by our Official Summer Holiday Camps Partner, Kellogg’s. From exciting drills to new friendships, we spent the day at Toryglen as hundreds of young Hoops enjoyed expert coaching, high-energy sessions and a whole lot of fun. With Kellogg’s helping us reach even more kids this year, the partnership continues to make a real difference by promoting confidence, activity and inclusion – all through the power of football. Want to get involved? If your child is aged 6 to 12, you can claim a FREE place at one of this summer’s camps by picking up a special pack of Kellogg’s cereal and redeeming the code online. Don’t miss out – this is summer, served the Celtic way. https://lnkd.in/e454r7v4

  • Celtic are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership between Celtic, our official retail partner JD and College Corinthians AFC in Cork. The new initiative, which will run for the next year, initially will provide fantastic coaching programmes to young people in the Cork area. The club’s international academy coaching programme will initially stage a three-day coaching clinic for young people in the Cork area, using Corinthians’ fantastic facilities in the city.   Professional UEFA Licensed Celtic Soccer Academy coaches will fly in from Glasgow and in a fun environment, Celtic’s coaches will provide expert coaching, with small and large sided games taking place, 1-to-1 feedback provided throughout as well as a real focus on Technical and Tactical Training.  This will be the first of many courses throughout the year as Celtic aims to bring their expertise and experience in support in this area. Celtic’s Academy coaching programme stretches far and wide with partnerships all over the globe from America to Australia and right across Europe. Celtic already have strong connections in Ireland and are pleased to develop these further through this programme in Cork, one the club hopes will be really popular. Jose Romero, Celtic’s Senior Soccer Academy Manager said: “We are really excited about teaming up with Corinthians in Cork and JD to provide a year-long programme of activity aimed at young people, boys and girls, who are interested in developing their skills. 'We know the great work which Corinthians have delivered for many years in the local community, and we will aim to bring our experience and skills to build on this great work.' “We know Adam has such a close connection to Corinthians and we are hopeful that we can use his example and the draw of Celtic to inspire some great involvement in this initiative, perhaps leading to more great footballing journeys from Cork to the highest levels of football.” College Corinthians’ commitment to provide a platform for the local community will be aided by fundraising around all the planned programmes. Funds raised will be reinvested back into the club which will leave a lasting legacy for years to come.
