This week, we proudly celebrated National Apprenticeship Week, recognising the incredible contributions of our 193 trainees – who make up a third of our firm! 🎉 It was a packed week of activities, from welcoming the Department for Education’s Apprenticeships Quality Skills Group – who work to ensure high-quality experiences for apprentices – to hosting an exclusive trainee breakfast in our new breakout area. We also treated the whole firm to doughnuts and brought the Student Forum together for their first meeting of 2025 over a well-earned pizza lunch.🍩🍕 Our trainees continue to excel, with first-time pass rates rising to 85% in 2024 – up 7% from 2023! Last Thursday, our Charity VAT and Tax teams welcomed academy professionals to an insightful session on VAT and tax for academies, providing attendees with valuable guidance on navigating such complexities. The evening concluded with a lively networking session, featuring great food, drinks, and thought-provoking discussions between our experts and members of our valued academy trust network.
