🚩 Please be mindful of these red flags in the wellness & fitness industry this summer ☀️ With the season approaching, be cautious of fitness professionals selling unrealistic expectations and quick-fix solutions Many use this time of year to create urgency and pressure, often preying on vulnerable people to prioritise profit over long-term health ❌ “Get shredded for summer!” – Promises that aren’t achievable in the given timeframe ❌ “Lose X pounds before your wedding in 90 days!” – Extreme crash diets ❌ “Get abs in 30 days!” – Gimmicks that ignore real fitness science ❌ Overly strict, unsustainable diet plans that aren’t meant for real life ❌ Body shaming tactics that make you feel like you have to go from 0 to 100 overnight I’ve seen all of these floating around on social media from so-called “wellness professionals”- don’t fall for the trap The Truth? These programmes aren’t designed for your success. They thrive on high client turnover, selling false hope rather than real, sustainable results. ✅ What actually works? True wellness is about long-term habits that support both physical and mental well-being Look for professionals who: ✔️ Educate you rather than sell gimmicks ✔️ Focus on balance instead of extremes ✔️ Help you ramp up gradually rather than forcing an all-or-nothing approach ✔️ Encourage flexibility (yes, that means you can have a 🍕 day) ✔️ Care about your well-being beyond just a short-term goal Choose wisely, stay kind to yourself, and pick sustainability over fads all the time.

  • Hybrid Working: Love It or Hate It? How can you create a stronger company culture that encourages people to come into the office? 🤔 Here are a few ideas to get you started: → Let employees have a say in which office perks you offer. → Encourage managers and executives to be present and actively engaged in office culture. → Promote office attendance for specific reasons – don’t make it mandatory. And most importantly… Build a sense of connection where your employees feel heard, seen, and valued. This could be the most effective corporate mental fitness strategy you can roll out. At BUA FIT, we help businesses strengthen their company culture through corporate wellness strategies. When your employees feel healthier and valued, they do their best work. And let’s face it, what better incentive to come into the office than having an exciting wellness programme aligned to your brand? 😉 #corporatewellness #buafit #corporateculture David Stapleton 🖤👊

Longevity isn’t just about staying fit and healthy- it’s about finding a sport, workout, or activity you genuinely love and mastering it I see too many people force themselves into fitness routines they don’t enjoy, only to burn out and fall into a rut that’s tough to escape. The key? Find something that excites you, put in the reps, and let it keep you moving for life Age is just a number, but tennis keeps that number looking real good. It’s the ultimate MVP for longevity among racket sports - combining endurance, agility, and mental sharpness in a way that keeps you coming back for more Find yours, stay in motion, and make movement a lifelong habit.

  • Imagine your team recharging in the sunshine ☀️ before the workday even begins. We weren’t made to sit in front of a laptop for 8 hours straight ❌ - movement, fresh air, and real connection make all the difference. Let’s bring workplace wellness to life that energise, motivate, and set the tone for a productive day. It’s time to move beyond the buzzword. Let’s make it happen. Work stress? 🤯Yeah, we’ve all been there. But here’s something that works wonders for me When things get overwhelming and stressful in startup land, I wake up early, head outside, and just move There’s something magical about seeing London come alive in the 🌅morning, and the city waking up It’s almost like a reset button for your mind I bet it will surprise you at how much lighter you feel afterward as it clears your head like nothing else Seriously, give it a try.

4 ways you can find your flow in corporate wellness 1. Prioritise the process, not just the outcome Instead of obsessing over filling out workshops, focus on how you approach your wellness strategy 📈 2. Embrace growth-oriented challenges Seek tasks that push your team just beyond their current skill level 💪 3. Break down the entire objective of what success looks like into manageable steps By focusing on each component of your wellness work, you create a rhythm that enhances efficiency 🔄 4. Eliminate distractions to maximise presence Set boundaries around wellness, treat a wellness workshop like an important sales meeting 📅 By implementing these strategies, employees and leaders alike can cultivate a flow state that enhances attendance, retention, and programme performance - I hope it helps. #corporatewellness
