Op 19 februari 2025 kwamen bedrijven, werknemers en lokale politici samen bij VNO-NCW voor een bijeenkomst met minister Sophie Hermans van het Ministerie van Klimaat en Groene Groei. 🌱🤝 Topthema was de toekomst van de industrie in Nederland, ondersteund door de uitkomsten van een onderzoek door PwC . Hierin wordt de sociaal-economische impact van de basisindustrie belicht en daarmee de urgentie voor de politiek om snel in actie te komen met maatregelen die het investeringsklimaat voor onze Nederlandse industrie verbeteren. Gezien de huidige geopolitieke ontwikkelingen is een sterke, duurzame industrie crucialer dan ooit. Nederland is van oudsher een voorloper in innovatie en productie, maar dreigt nu de controle te verliezen. Hoge energiekosten, extra nationale heffingen en een toenemende administratieve last zetten onze industrie onder druk. Wij geloven dat onze industrie een eerlijke kans verdient. Dan kan het niet zo zijn dat de energiekosten en belastingregels zorgen voor hogere productiekosten in Nederland dan in de rest van Europa. 📉 De feiten op een rij: • 18 maanden krimp in de industrie. • Hoge elektriciteitskosten ⚡ en nationale heffingen 💶. • 753.000 banen in Nederland die afhankelijk zijn van een gezonde industrie. Het is tijd voor actie! We moeten samen met de politiek slimme en duurzame oplossingen vinden om de toekomst van onze industrie veilig te stellen. Big news from India!   Last week, we signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to explore opportunities for collaboration across the energy industry.   🤝 This MoU will focus on oil and gas exploration and production both in-country and internationally – building on our existing partnership with ONGC to be Technical Services Provider for the Mumbai High field.   🌊 Other joint opportunities may extend into other areas, including deep-water exploration, carbon sequestration and management of maturing fields.   For more ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eRepgZ3f

🚀 Smart innovation in the Gulf of America!    Our Argos platform recently underwent an inspection plan for 300 valves using the digital twin. This advanced #Technology creates a highly accurate virtual model of the platform, enabling real-time monitoring and planning. Our team used it to develop a maintenance plan directly downloaded to their tablets, allowing them to access information in real-time. ⏲️   The digital twin supports everything from routine maintenance to complex #Engineering, making operations safer, reducing risks, and saving time and costs.    We plan to implement this technology across all platforms in the Gulf of America. 🆕 Helena Tomazio, responsável pela Comunicação e Assuntos Externos da bp Portugal, participou no webinar sobre Segurança Rodoviária, organizado pela Direção-Geral de Educação (DGE). 🛣️ Na sua intervenção, Helena Tomazio salientou a importância da segurança para a bp, nomeadamente a segurança rodoviária, referindo o desafio bp Segurança ao Segundo como um dos principais projetos que a bp apoia em Portugal nesta área.
