It’s exam results day in Scotland, and although results are important, we want to remind you that today does not define your future. This week, we’ll be joining Developing the Young Workforce (DYW Scotland) for their #NoWrongPath campaign to show young people that there are many routes to success, and that you don’t always have to take the obvious or traditional path to get there. We’ll be shining a light on our Group Sales Training Manager, Louise Joyce, our Group Sustainability Manager, Pablo Levi, and our Group Transport Manager, David Green, to learn about their unique career journeys and what led them to their roles at Arnold Clark.

Our employees’ health and wellbeing is important to us. That’s why we recently gave them the opportunity to attend a Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) heart screening at our Glasgow GTG Training centre during work hours, helping to identify those who are at risk from sudden cardiac death. A total of 188 people attended the screening, including 136 members of the public and 52 of our employees. Of those who took part, 10 attendees followed up with their GP, highlighting how these are vital checks that can potentially save lives. A huge thank you to the incredible team at CRY for their vital work, and to everyone involved in making the day a success.

As one of our Sir Arnold Clark Summer Fund 2025 winners, we were delighted to donate £8,000 to YMCA Bellshill & Mossend through our partnership with Cash for Kids West Scotland. The group is dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for children, young people, families, and the wider community by providing vital services, including childcare, youth work, community projects and a foodbank. Keep up the good work!

We're proud to announce a new partnership with Scorpion Automotive Ltd, a leading provider of vehicle security solutions. Through the partnership, Arnold Clark will be able to offer customers ScorpionTrack, a range of cutting-edge tracking products and services, as part of their car buying experience.  

From Customer Advisor to Service Manager in just seven years, Caitlin has climbed the ranks within our Nottingham Motorstore. Starting at Arnold Clark in 2018 as a Customer Advisor within the Rental department, Caitlin moved into the Service Advisor role in 2020 before becoming a Senior Service Advisor in 2023. Earlier this year, she was then promoted to Service Manager. With the support of her managers, ongoing training and mentorship from the franchise team, Caitlin is now working towards her IMI accreditation and is focused on leading her team to success, with the goal of becoming the top-performing Motorstore in the Group. Well done, Caitlin!
