Located in Fife, the development is one of many Arc-Tech (Scotland) has supported over the years on behalf of Morrison Community Care Group and CCG (Scotland) Ltd. Over the years, our dedicated in-house team of experts has played a key role in delivering six care homes, is actively supporting two live projects, and will be involved with two more projects set to break ground in 2025. Our Mechanical and Electrical services are delivered on a turnkey basis, ensuring seamless integration, while our specialist sub-divisions, such as our #Sprinklers team, provide a comprehensive solution for meeting all necessary technical requirements and building standards compliance. Each facility is purpose-built to provide a home-from-home for elderly people over the age of 65, providing best-in-class residential, nursing, and dementia care services. The £60m Lost Shore Surf Resort opened its doors earlier this month to much fanfare and rightly so... Scotland's hottest new tourist destination is now home to Europe's largest, inland wave pool (from Wavegarden) as well as a wide range of retail premises and overnight accommodation. Arc-Tech (Scotland) was appointed to the contract by The Malcolm Group with 25 contract staff members, including 5 trade apprentices, leading the installation of a £6m M&E Services package. Arc-Tech (Scotland) has been involved in the Healthcare sector since our company's inception. One of our largest-ever projects from the sector is the wonderful Clydebank Health and Care Centre, a purpose-built facility designed to improve the standard (and quantity) of available health services in the Clydebank community and the wider local authority region with GP & nursing services as well as health visitors, social workers, dental and podiatry departmental staff on hand to serve up to 40,000 people annually. Arc-Tech supported its delivery via a £3.4m #Mechanicalservices and #Electricalservices package on behalf of the Main Contractor, BAM UK & Ireland with hub West Scotland, for our client, West Dunbartonshire Council Health and Social Care Partnership. We are highlighting this project again because it has just received national recognition from Building Better Healthcare who announced it as the 'Best Healthcare Development (under £25m)' at their annual awards yesterday evening. One of 2 practical completions in the last 2 weeks! 🙌 It is great to see the completion of the extension and refurbishment contract at Woodburn Primary School in Dalkeith get the ceremonial cutting-of-the-ribbon treatment after being finished SIX WEEKS ahead of schedule. The £11.4m works programme involved the delivery of a new, two-storey 2,262m2 extension, comprising an additional nine classrooms and gym hall, while the existing dining hall and kitchen were upgraded and extended to accommodate the expansion of the school. The contract was led by Main Contractor, Kier Group on behalf of Midlothian Council, and was supported by a £2.1m #BuildingServices package from Arc-Tech (Scotland) comprising Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing works that included sprinklers, BMS, and security systems, as well as thermal expansion, lighting protection & controls, and air conditioning. Arc-Tech was also able to leave a small legacy behind as part of various #communitybenefit initiatives. These included replacing an oven and undertaking repairs for MARC, a local reuse charity store, as well as participating in career-based events, and donating vouchers to 6-year school leavers. Water Row is an excellent example of urban regeneration in the city of Glasgow. A complicated site in the centre of Govan, the 92-home, low-carbon development for Govan Housing Group stands tall, and in equal measure to, the recently opened Glasgow-Partick Bridge that will undoubtedly be transformative for the representative communities. Arc-Tech’s in-house #Renewables and #Sprinklers Divisions supported main contractor CCG (Scotland) Ltd with the installation of 431 340w Viridian Solar, in-roof panels, and a sprinkler fire suppression system fed from a shared tank and booster set.
