Today, a joined-up team across our group launched #AFaceForRadio for the UK charity Changing Faces, UK. Changing Faces supports people with visible differences, and this campaign encourages brands, agencies and media companies to feature more people with visible differences in their collateral. With approximately 1 in 5 people in the UK self-identifying as having a visible difference, there is a clear need for a positive shift in awareness and representation in advertising. Over the last 24 hours, awareness of the campaign has been driven across ITV, Channel 5, BBC Radio 1 and BBC News and Global Heart FM, and our brilliant ambassadors are starting to appear on sites across the UK, photographed by the award-winning fashion photographer, Stephanie Sian Smith. At the heart of the campaign is The Changing Faces Pledge, devised by MSQ and Changing Faces, that businesses can sign to show their commitment to making positive change. ✨✍️ If representation matters to your business, become a leading brand for people with visible differences and sign the pledge. ✨✍️ You will receive: - A direct line to Changing Faces expertise and services to understand how to increase representation of people with visible difference in marketing collateral. - Special access to talent and talent agencies representing the visible difference community via a Changing Faces ‘Approved Partner’ list. - An annual check-in with a Changing Faces representative to understand upcoming marketing requirements and how visible differences can be best represented.
